@@f.1395 that was probably when they were still having children. Now that this is their last Ellen and Andrew are entitled to decide a more permanent solution to not having more children.

As the fourth of six kids, I know that people always assume that there’s not enough attention to go around from parents of big families. I get where they’re coming from but I don’t think people realise how much children learn from their siblings! I know I may have gotten less attention than my eldest sister but I don’t feel any less loved. In fact I think I’m lucky I had my siblings to talk to. I had a great childhood and never felt any sort of neglect. I’m so grateful for my family and as a result I’d love a big family for myself.
I am the 6th of 9 children and I have never felt I was neglected or that there wasn't enough attention. The best part of a big family is the strong relationships that younger and older siblings form. My oldest sister has always been like a second mom to me, and even when my parents are crazy busy, there was always someone there for you. I wish more people understood what being in a big family is actually like. It's wonderful:)
It's more an issue of there not being enough money to go around. Way too many parents put their children into poverty and hardship by having more children than they can afford. That just shouldn't happen in a world where we have access to contraception and abortion.
I just think your babies are so lucky to have you both as parents. You guys are awesome and have created such a connected and loving life for them. Thank you for inspiring us!
I used that exact belly oil for all my pregnancies too, a friend told me about it 10 years ago when I was pregnant with my first and I've been so superstitious (kind of) and have used the same one even though there are so many new products out- and still- ZERO stretch marks. I think the main thing that contributes is gaining only what is needed for the baby (about 20-25 lbs for me at 5'7), and staying active and hydrated.
I've learned that everything happens for a reason, every event has a why and all adversity teaches us a lesson... Never regret your past. Accept it as the teacher that it is.🌷

No one could ever convince me to get my vasectomy reversed. It's a permanent form of birth control for men who don't want or are done having children. Getting it reversed is crazy. I honestly wish vasectomies were irreversible like bilateral salpingectomies and hysterectomies. Maybe then people would actually take them seriously.

You know what guys - i think it's super cool that you're openly talking about Andrew planning on getting a vasectomy. Some people are so unreasonable about this. It's so much easier and cheaper to sterilize a man than a woman that this debate can sometimes show how fragile some men's masculinity is. So much so that it stands in the way of common sense. I'm still very young (in university) and i think it's great that you're setting a good example :)
@@Mint-kj9kw But on average, tubal ligation makes the likelihood of complications far greater than with no scalpel vasectomy-due to it being more invasive.

@@joshklaver47j no, creep. That is murder, murder of an innocent being. Would you have liked for your mother to have murdered you when she got pregnant with you? If a couple has sex and don’t want to get pregnant, they must make use of contraceptive methods, and even so, if they still get pregnant, keep the baby, obviously. Gosh!
@@CarlaPizao what if someone got brutally raped by their father, uncles, and cousins continuously abused and raped, over and over, everyday for years, forced to have painful, unprotected sex each time. and continued to get pregnant? What would you do if your daughter was raped by her dad and got pregnant? And then raped by her brother and got pregnant again? It happens every single day.
Preganant with my fourth! The more you have the more experience that helps to raise the others! Im surprised to hear about a vasectomy bc it alters the body forever. There is research linking to changes in prostate health. Ya’ll are great parents and your kiddos are all blessed💛
Vasectomy is very safe and effective, and there's no solid evidence of it causing prostate problems. I did extensive research and wouldn't have gotten a vasectomy if I wasn't 100% sure it was safe. It's a really smart birth control option for men, and I wish it was more popular. Best decision I've ever made.
Seems like it would be easier to have the vasectomy before the baby is born so you are more available to Ellen with the newborn. I will admit I have never understood why men are so reluctant to have vasectomies with their wives go thru so much to have the babies like rock stars. SO easy in comparison.;)
I would be too worried if something went wrong with labor or delivery. I know children can die at any time and life is not guaranteed- I just couldn’t bear to have my husband do it while pregnant. I would be more okay 2 years after birth so we could make sure.
@@nanaronhano337 i think you're unaware how it can be easily reversed... plus it is never guaranteed that the procedure would work too. Pregnancy is a very unique thing to experience and can’t be replicated but I also understand that a child is a child (biological or not).
You should adopt or foster. There are already hundreds of thousands of children who need loving parents. People leaving them to rot while they get IVF or fertility treatments instead is wrong.
@@joshklaver47 It's not the responsibility of people that struggle with infertility to fix the adoption issue. Everyone else is just as responsible for considering. I'm 16 weeks with the 2nd one. My 1st is 3 months older than Scott.
My husband had a vasectomy since I had two csections. It’s a great way for permit protection and I’m not on birth control.
I’ve loved watching your beautiful family grow. I started watching when Elvis and Sandy were so little! You’re glowing as always Ellen!❤️
Sending good vibes, especially for Andrew. He seems like he is not feeling this video and/or topic. Andrew is the star of this video
I love when you're both are on camera. You guys are great parents.
Your awesome Parents! Congrats on the coming new baby. I started watching you guys when Elvis was a baby. I can’t believe your going on 5.
You guys are just the absolute best!!
Best wishes for you parents!!
I am in my first trimester with my second baby. Ellen you're such an inspiration!!
I'm so happy for you guys! I've been watching your channel since the beginning and can't believe you're on 5 kids now! You guys are such good parents and have an awesome lifestyle 🤙
Tons of men have had complications from their vasectomies.
@@Mint-kj9kw But on average, tubal ligation makes the likelihood of complications far greater than with no scalpel vasectomy-due to it being more invasive.
I agree. I got a vasectomy at 25, and it was no big deal. It was painless, and I was back at work the next day. Best decision I've ever made. Zero regrets. I recommend it to every guy.
I have loved watching your family grow. It's been so beautiful. Thank you for sharing these vulnerable moments with us. Wishing you peace & prosperity always!
Awww...when I watch your and Hannah's channel it makes me miss the days when our kiddos were young. We birthed and raised ours very much in line with your parenting styles. Such a fun time! They're 14 and 18 now and I know you will love this season too!
We wanted to have more, but miscarried 3. Enjoy it all Ellen. It goes by so fast!♡
Love from Ohio (Lisa)
You guys and your family are so beautiful🌿 and so cute to see you together🥰 I wish you all the very best!
Will you share the names you didn’t use since this is the last baby?
You already have a Scout why not an Atticus. Such a beautiful family!
My youngest brother is a failed vasectomy, his name is Jonas. Jonas the bonus 🤣
😂😂
Thankfully we have access to abortion for situations like that.
What then? Because I can guarantee this has happened, will happen and continue to happen every single day. And I hope it never happens to you or your children.
Pregnancy and childbirth can and does alter the body forever. Sometimes, it isn't in a good or healthy way.
Congratulations you guys!! I love the shell shocked look that Andrew has 😂 You guys have a lovely family 🥰
I wouldn't be surprised they have an accident in the next years. Men are being delivered the wrong information about vasectomies and it should be normalized at this point. Enough with the insane procedures on our reproductive system when there are easier methods for our partners if they are so supportive.
@@chimmystoe you really shouldn’t get one unless you’re 100% sure you are not having any more children. My friends got a reversal and it’s been unsuccessful. They regret it.
Because vasectomies are effed up and unnatural AF.... husband should just get a second wife if you’re unwilling to have babies
A vasectomy is nothing compared to what women go through. My hubby had one years ago. Within a couple of days he as fully recovered. No biggie.
Yep, stretch marks are genetic. My hubby has them on his hips/back. He’s never been overweight and lost a lot of weigh.
Ugh living vicariously through you haha my 4th is 15 months and I’m usually already pregnant haha but I just can’t do another as much as it kills me to say lol I’d love a 5th but my pregnancies are rough
So happy for you both. This will be another lucky baby.....
When I see Andrew in videos, I feel like I see myself because we have very similar personalities! Congrats you guys🤍
Hey Ellen, thanks for the video and congrats! By the way, where are you getting all these cute dresses from? I'm pregnant and live in Hawaii as well. I am in need of some cute and comfy dresses for hot weather!
I have five kids and had three boys and a girl and my fifth was another girl! I was def done with kids after five no matter if the last was a boy or girl. My husband did get a vasectomy.
Chef Kenny’s Vegan Sushi! I lived in Vegas for 8 years and love him and his restaurants. He also has one in Houston which happens to be where my family is. Now I’m in Bolivia so he needs to open a vegan sushi place here 😋
Thanks for sharing your beautiful family with us. Wishing you guys all the best! ❤️🌻❤️🌻
Thank you for sharing! I always loved when you do this kinds of videos.
Used mothers special blend with my first who was 10lbs at birth not a single stretch mark...used it 8 months into my 2nd pregnancy ran out and I'm living in Germany currently so I couldn't get a new bottle. Thought I'd be fine...haaaaaaaa. I got stretch marks the last 3 weeks. Not terrible but noticeable. That stuff is magic I recommend it to all my pregnant friends. Also staying hydrated 100%.
Oh my gosh, I love your reaction with the van. 🤣 🤣 that’s exactly how I was….”I swear I will never have a van!!” 😬 I have one now and all I can say is they are nice. Lol can’t wait to see this baby!! So excited for you guys. 💗
All through the video Andrew is like " I regret it so much" 😅 though this may be his natural face. Either way Andrew is a great dad. Congratulations on new baby. 🎉 🎉🎉😘
I felt that way in the last baby announcement too 😏
@@davisneves why the face?Has nothing to do with you
Love your husband and how respectful he is to your wishes!
I have four brothers. I cannot express how much I wanted a sister. And when I grew up, I yearned for a daughter and had a son. 😅
When you use disposable diapers what brands do you prefer?
I am struggling with fertility because PCOS caused by a transition. Please send baby dust. Such a goddess of fertility and motherhood she is. I pray that I get to be a momma as well.
Foster care, adoption???
@@Mint-kj9kw That’s not a bad point but some people want to experience pregnancy and having biological children to raise from birth (hope that doesn’t sound harsh). Pregnancy is a very unique thing to experience and can’t be replicated but I also understand that a child is a child (biological or not).
You should adopt or foster. There are already hundreds of thousands of children who need loving parents. People leaving them to rot while they get IVF or fertility treatments instead is wrong.
@@silenceisbetterthannonsense I've always wanted to be pregnant and have a baby WITH my husband.
@@joshklaver47 It's not the responsibility of people that struggle with infertility to fix the adoption issue. Everyone else is just as responsible for considering. Most people who can have kids aren't pushed towards it. I'm not against adoption. It's just ridiculous that the most empathetic response people can come up with is, "Just Adopt. It's YOUR responsibility to." Dude, my body is struggling to do the one thing It's literally meant to do. Am I allowed to want to create a child with my husband? Geeze
Ellen, Andrew, Hannah e filhotes, amo vocês 🥰 Acompanho o canal desde o início e sou muito apaixonada 💚
I really enjoyed hearing your responses to all the questions, thanks Ellen & Andrew.
I can see that Andrew has a hard time sitting. He needs to go and do things! Very sweet of him to do this 'interview'!
I really hope you have one more for an even number! 🥰
another question: I know you LOVE living in hawaii and it goes hand in hand with your lifestyle and personality, but would you ever move to the mainland and live in another state? What state would you prefer IF you had to.
I have 5 children and we recently got a Suburban and I actually miss my van so much! My kids were just too big for it though- not enough leg room anymore.
Were you still using Natural Cycles when you got pregnant? I remember you used to use it few years ago.
With 3 I felt like my house kept getting smaller and smaller over the years. Finally moved into a bigger space and it made a world of difference.
Try veggie house in las vegas!! Their walnut shrimp is so good! Vegan everything
Omg love the dress. Where is it from?! I’m so excited for your family. 💜💜
The dress is from augustethelabel!
I absolutely adore your family dynamic! ❤
Aww hahaa when he said maybe well adopt and you were like so pleasantly surprised by that comment. So sweet!
You guys are a power couple! Love it
My husband (Also an Andrew! lol) got a Vasectomy and it was In and Out appointment! A bit sore for a few days.
