    Thx now I have a fighting chance to survive my exam...
    Because I have to take that in a different school... using different software than the one I'm used too...
    Yay life...
    Also I get your pricing tiers, they are not even noteworthy expense in the industry. But if you are a student they really suck...
    Might want to think about that, creating a useful student/hobbyist version for 30-60 bucks?
    Shouldn't cost more than your average tripple A title.
    Also it doesn't need really much more of capability than the things you've showed here.

      Thanks for the feedback and its good to hear the channel is helping. You should be able to request educational prices from your country sales team. They are considerably cheaper as you suggested.

    how can I program where the potential lines appear? my other wires don't connect to them correctly

    • @IGEXAOUK

      Right-click in the page and select Page Properties. Click on Page Template sections at the bottom to see the working area for the page (displayed as a red box). Take note of the top and bottom position for this box. Check the Page Properties again and check the Position of top and bottom potentials which are offset from the top and bottom of the red box. If this is off the 5mm grid and the offset doesn't adapt the starting position the potentials will not be easy to connect to.

    How do you show wire size and color without putting it in a cable?

    • @IGEXAOUK
      @IGEXAOUK  2 года назад

      Priority for wire size and colour display comes from the wire properties settings in the Circuit Diagram IEC Properties menu, in the Wires tab. There's a graphical properties section with options for displaying wire number, size and colour. Once enabled, you'll need to control the display on each wire if you don't want to see the size and colour.

    I downloaded the trial version and I don't have a tab (circuit diagrams IEC) so I couldn't make a new page. please tell me why because I want to buy a version and I don't want to have the same problem.

      Make sure you've created a new project and NOT used the Installation Standard workspace template. If it's still not showing the Circuit Diagrams IEC node, it most likely your trial has expired. Email uk@ige-xao.com for assistance in this case, thanks.

    Hi sir. Do you know how and where to download symbols library?

    • @IGEXAOUK
      @IGEXAOUK  Месяц назад

      Hi @Irnmt2000 most equipment downloaded from the web catalog provide both circuit diagram and 3D Panel symbols. The web catalog is available through subscription from your local sales team. We do also have some additional 2D and manufacturer specific symbol databases for the circuit diagrams which we can send out on request. contact support-uk@ige-xao.com for more information.

    What do I do when I try to create a new project, but don't see any templates after typing in my project name ?

    • @IGEXAOUK
      @IGEXAOUK  10 месяцев назад

      If this is for V8R4 make sure to download and install an environment (IEC - European/NFPA - North America) so there are workspace templates with .sep extension in the templates folder. This is the default location for the templates: C:\Users\Public\Documents\IGE+XAO\SEE Electrical\V8R4\Templates
