The walkie-talkie feature on the Armor 26 Ultra (depending on version) is a game-changer for off-the-grid adventures. And the 120Hz display with Dimensity 8020 processor makes it a complete phone.
Ulefone Armor 26 Ultra looks like a beast! Dimensity 8020 chip with 24GB RAM sounds like it can handle anything you throw at it.
uSmart expansion connector is for me one of the key things in diagnosing problems as a mechanic, certainly as a long-time user of Ulefone, this model is on the shopping list...
And one of my favorite things about Ulefone is definitely the real FM radio, for which you don't need an antenna or internet, just a real old school radio.
Great review - Question, can the walkie talkie scan the VHF/UHF bands and can you plug in a particular frequency. I am a ham and this has application for me if the VHF/UHF radio has flexibility.. scanning, operating on 140mhz and above etc...

This is the Armor 26 ultra "regular" model without walkie talkie function and removable antenna.
I found ulefone is a very interesting phone brand
1.got own case for each model
2.some model have charging dock
3. IR sensor as remote controller
4.FM radio without headphone as antenna
5.still have headphone jack

Armor 26 ultra has GPS L1, L5 but not satellite messages, for them see Armor 23 Ultra. Don't forget that you have a monthly/annual subscription for satellite messages.

Yes, the night vision video was shot in total darkness. The Armor 26 ultra does not have a satellite option.
Between this and oukitel wp 30 pro, which one is the best price to performance? (Ulefone 26 700$ and oukitel 30 550$)
In terms of performance, they are similar, both fast and fluid, but the Armor 26 Ultra is still a somewhat professional smartphone with additional options and capabilities.
The lack of software support is a joke. It comes with Android 13 releasing in May.
Also it's rugged but not Gorilla Glass Victus. 😅
Android 14 is NOT out worldwide. Only for a few brands and devices.
@@factsevidenceagainstmarxis4474I'll take security updates over those major Android revisions. Google already messed up my phone's access to certain folders and the microsd cards (for 3rd party apps) as well.

Well, try to set the resolution of the RUclips video to 1080p, the video on the phone is excellent.
A very fat phone with out projector, thermal! Only the ancient walkie talkie function that reminds the first rugged phones of the 00's! Why buy this and not the Tank 3 Pro? (And looks alike to it)
This Ulefone is a real professional smartphone, not a toy like Tank that pretends to be tough. I had a Tank 3 model, full of bugs, the camera was unusable... If you don't believe me, look on the forums to see what people say about the Tank...

why are you talking about only cameras and music and rubbish? talk about the rugged phone itself.
The only thing I find with these phones is that the side buttons get pushed in too easily. They need to make them a little stiffer. Also if this had the satellite option would make it perfect and I would buy it. But I guess I will have to wait. The walkie-talkie option would be cool for out in the bush hunting. Would be nice if you would mention the distance that it goes
If you are interested, you have a satellite option in the Armor 23 Ultra model.
I did not mention the walkie-talkie function in the review because this model is "regular" without such a function.

Yes, but for example if you work in the field, at a job where there is dust, dirt, various particles of shavings, then it is better to have a cover so that such things do not enter the charging port.
@@GSMaholic Someone here using umidigi bison that time is typhoon but is success even muddy. I have rugged phone then I removed the cover then I put into the water. Now is gone. The water can penetrate to your phone.
