Found this channel yesterday and spent the whole night binge watch all the vids was not disappointing. Those subs placement looks similar to Korean variety show style which I really like to see.
I found this channel because of the almighty YT algorithm. Its hilarious.. I watch alot of this style content, and a girl I was trying to get with is really into BTS and ATEEZ and the other boy bands from Korea. So other drain content + Korean boy bands = Blocked Drain Korea? lol
I have no idea how you guys even move around some of these places never mind get the pipes cleaned. Another great episode and like the Monday ones, a fantastic way to end the week.
Great videos guys! I live in Australia now but I'm originally from the USA. Korean plumbing is very different from American and Australian plumbing. Australian plumbing is also different from American plumbing. In the US water from sinks, showers, and the toilet all go into one drain pipe before they leave the house or building to the main sewer which eventually goes to a sewage treatment plant. Rainwater goes into a separate system and is discharged to a river or ocean untreated. In some older cities such as New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and Philadelphia rainwater goes into a combined rainwater/wastewater sewer system and all of the water is treated. During heavy rains this systems can overflow and sewage is discharged into the environment causing pollution. Australia uses separate sewer systems for rainwater and wastewater. Outdoor catchments like the ones in your videos don't exist in the US. I was eating some kimchi while watching this video making it a Korean experience.
Greetings from Minnesota, USA! Ive been cleaning drains as well for over 5 years and couldnt imagine doing the things you guys do in such tight spaces! Just wanted to say i appreciate all these videos theyre just so dang satisfying! I wish everyone had the same work ethic and attitude towards the job as you guys do! You guys are amazing!
Watched every single one of your videos and I'm honestly surprised you don't have more subscribers with the quality of work you do. Best of luck and keep it up! ❤😁
I'm here procrastinating watching this instead of doing my work and out of nowhere see the guy at 4:49 wearing a St. Louis Cardinals hat! Go cardinals I'm in St. Louis! Guess the world really is a small place sometimes lol.
i've seen your videos and honestly this one has to be the toughest one. i am going to korea to find you guys, and i am gonna buy you all copious amounts of alcohol.
This was the first video I saw of yours. I've watched a ton of them ever since late at night when I cannot sleep. Just want to let you know that "gradient" is a word that means "a gradual transition of color," but I think you want to describe a gradual transition of slope in the pipes. Please correct me if I am wrong about what you are trying to say. I was very confused for a long time about what you meant! Haha Besides this one word, the subtitles are easy to understand. Great videos.
Almost, but not quite. Their use of gradient to describe a grade (slope) is correct. From Merriam-Webster, "a: the rate of regular or graded (see grade entry 2 sense transitive 2) ascent or descent : inclination b: a part sloping upward or downward". This is wholly separate from the usage of the word in the arts.
@@ferthur01 Ah, thank you very much, Joe! I'm an artist and took for granted that the definition in art was the only definition because it was the only definition that I was taught through school and never heard it used any other way. I really appreciate it. :)
@@NasikaSakura there are a lot of words like that. I can't count the number of times I've gone to doublecheck spelling or definition and go "huh, didn't know you could use it that way."
Ah now I can stop calling you guys by nicknames in my head LOL... Somehow I don't think anyone wants me calling them tiny even if is just because of a softer voice hahahaha
Can i understand there does it mean that in a high rise building, those staying at the lowest floor will have the highest probability of a choked pipe since all sewage water have to pass by the ground floor units? :(
You always clean the pipes closer to the sewers before you clean the pipes going to the drains, right? I thought you mentioned it in some video or possibly the other way round.
Having watched about a dozen of these videos it seems that the main issues are; 1. Shitty plumbing with no standards 2. Inconsiderate people with no standards
This lady should be on your team. She's a natural, she even makes her own specialized tools. Give her a uniform now. lol
L♥️d the lady, defo needs to be made deputy supervisor...☺️😂☺️

@@zhbvenkhoReload there are lots of drain channels nowadays.

Production value on these keeps going up - amazing to look back at early videos compared to now. Excellent content.
I like the cuts and that they don't film a lot of unnecessary stuff like most others do.. Sometimes it's funny but a lot of times nothing happens
Oh that poor wet/dry vacuum! I feel so bad for it sometimes! 😆
The captions and editing are so funny, you always make me laugh! Great video 👍🏻

This video was fantastic, but GROSS! 💩💩💩💩
Wow, i just started to see this channel and already became fan!

That lady’s a real trooper!
Ratty making a surprise guest appearance and a super cool customer, awesome video and team.
Loved the shout out to Ratty! You guys are awesome! Anyone would be lucky to have you working on their drains!

I love how the end of their sentences always end on a high voice reflection. It's like "bingwayAHHHHHH". "chosemedaDAHHHHH"
You guys need to do a public service announcement in Korea to stop flushing grease and how to dispose of it properly. This is insanity.
And us westerns should stop flushing freaking flip flops etc...
@@PeIaaja yea thats also true. But grease, especially if not drained with warm water just sticks and hardens instantly.
@@bluej511 true true. :)
@@PeIaaja My friends are starting to get tired of my ranting about how flushable wipes are NOT flushable.
When they do this they won't make any more money.

Well done guys, Drain Addict would be proud of your thoroughness. Greetings from Australia 👏👌
Lots of dirt and grease with complicated pipes. Good work guys!!!!
@0:51 So people in Korea steal milk crates for personal use too, I thought this was an American thing.
Nice to see you guys so caring of the elderly.

Stop dumping your cooking oil down the drain, people!
With the grease and the soil, it basically makes a disgusting concrete in the pipes.

Much love and positive vibes from Germany. 🤙
Thank you for uploading new video 🌹
All these sound effects make your movies really great to watch.
your videos are spot on..respect from Denmark
man, you guys are so dang nice! I hope to meet people like you when I visit Korea!! Such a beautiful country
Another way to learn AIGOO! 😆
That's crazy all that soil and silt. That wonderful lady said she was cleaning out the catchments.
Hopefully all that dirt isnt from a hole in the pipe somewhere they didnt notice. Thats how sinkholes happen.

You say the 3/8 hosepipe.....I say it's a 3/8 HORSE-pipe :P
why was there stones in the pipe, is the ground falling into the drain or something?

love your works, can we get a Korean Mascort
Ahhh. Ratty on holiday, Everyone in Korea should flush 1 corn for Ratty to get good luck of no blocked drain.. 🤣🌽🐀
Looks like the mid point is lowest. So all dirt, grit and sand is draining back into the pit. Regular suction cleaning needed!
If they put a solid lid on that problem area, would that stop the soil? Or is it getting in from somewhere else?
Hey uhm how do you clean your equipment afterwards? Oil is kinda stubborn especially on rubber

The post production on this is like a bad nightmare
Work so well as a team.
Wish you showed what equipment you used.
Man you guys are awesome
The people no try to put boiled water after to drop grease? Or put the grease on a container to drop on the trash to recicle?
I'm sorry did I hear a JonTron voice line in a korean drain cleaning video? The greatest crossover of all time.
Toward the end .... let's just drink for now. (did she buy them a bottle?)

When I first moved back to Korea in 2009, I was shocked how routinely Koreans just dump grease down the sink.
I need to sleep but I also need to see how this ends
Can I ask how much do you charge for a job like this in Korea?
Good Job.
how do you guys wash your shoes..

Parkour for unblocked drain in Korea... 😅
So this is one of this stereotype old landlord ladies with several flats? :D
don't they have building supervision there? everything tight and crooked
Why the hell is so much grease in the Pips in Korea. In my country you would have massive problems if you put you grease down the drain
I love Blocked Drain Korea, wish they were able to upload faster:):):)
Ratty! Great job!
good job guys
When I grow up I want to be a Korean drain unclogger
Why pour grease down the drain. Should know better. Great job boys
I figured Koreans drove around in flying cars and used wormhole technology for their sewage issues, imagine my shock to see this.
Open catchment basins in a sanitary sewer system does seem rather... medieval? At least to me.
Get two vacuums then you wouldn't have to lift the one. One sucks the drain other sucks inside the drain vacuum. Work smarter not harder!
was recommended and was totally fine watching this hmmm

What is the grease you keep talking about in all your videos?
Need them in scotland
those cotton gloves don't seem very helpful working with sewage. maybe time for a upgrade.
this video made me smile
Why tf is there so much grease and oil in your pipelines? :S Every video has a yellow bricks of grease flying in all directions.
Korea eats lots of fried foods I guess.
@@Trgn That does not explain why the pipelines are filled with grease.. unless they keep pouring the grease into the sink.. my God..
