That's a pretty good mower! Handled quite well all things considered. Stupid design on the discharge chute though, if it could have gotten the grass away from the blade more it probably wouldn't have stalled anywhere near as much. Good on you for stopping when the cars passed by, I can't tell you how many times I've driven by people mowing and they just blast grass all over the cars.
I just got a Husqvarna push mower from wheel drive in the front wheel drive is broken and I have a Toro front wheel drive and I just mowed my acre front yard with the Husqvarna and it works great love your video
set the mower to thw highest setting and take ropw or something to hold the discharge chute wide open so.the clippings will fly out with it like that it clogs up cause theres to much . also u could push down on the back of the mower so the front is up in the air about a foot and push it. it will cut through that tall stuff alot easier then u can push it Regularly after that
@@theericfreeze1493 no it won’t. I do it all the time the grass will just shoot farther out and not clog up the mower as quick and also don’t shoot the grass back on top of the high grass. You’re making it harder for yourself.
Pro tip here. When your grass is that tall put the mower deck all the way up and work in layers, then nock down two levels and bag the grass up, it will make your yard look much better that way
A quick tip if you want to mow overgrown grass like that, if you stall the mower and back out of the grass, start, and let get all the grass out and then mow. Don't start it and immediately keep going because that'll ruin the mower
quick tip if you mow a overgrown grass put the mower deck all the way up and mow slowly because the first time i cut my dads overgrown grass in his back yard i just instantly go and it turn off on me and my dad showed me to go went you hear the mower try to cut off on you he said to stop and wait a few seconds and go and i became an expert at mowing the grass and he lets me mow the front yard but he does the part where my sister’s grandpas car it and my dad does the part where the two trees is and thats how i learn how to cut grass like an expert and my dad teach me how to bag the clippings and i did really good at bagging the clippings thank you for 3 likes😞
Just a suggestion, but when I used to have taller grass like that to mow I'd set the front to mow a couple of inches higher than the back. It kinda helps, you do have to clean up the clippings before re mowing with the mower height set level though. Thanks for the video.
It takes a few more steps and tome ,I think cutting from the highest setting, to lowest, would put less engine strain and grass bruising ! buut !!!what I will say, is you did an awesome job at getting it done, your yard looked really good when you finished!
Cutting only up to 1/3 of the grass is healthiest for the lawn. Also I can’t see this lawn mower lasting very long with the task it’s put up to. What grass that does manage to survive this cut will have a heck of a time finding the day of light again. The way to solve all these problems is to just cut the grass before it gets overgrown.
After that workout, that poor mower deserves a bubble bath and an oil change. I would have probably set the deck higher, then cross cut it with a lower setting. You are tenacious though, I'll give you that!!
Never understood why folks blow clippings into the uncut grass making it harder on the mower. Direct the clippings towards the already cut path on each pass even if it means more walking to do so.
@@theericfreeze1493 That is why I didn't recognise it, I don't think I have seen any vertical shaft Predator engines before. Your lawnmower can't vacume grass your deck is to low for that past do grass that's a foot tall your lawnmower can't breath from under the deck your CHOKING IT
That's not how to spell vacuum, when I mowed this lawn the lawn mower had a clean air filter so there was no way to choke this engine. I also cannot make the mower go any higher the maximum height on a smaller which was used in this video was 4.5". The grass was 1'.
Your lawnmower does not have a choke but your chokeing it buy having your deck to low your deck cannot vacume the grass the way it's suppose to know I don't mean your lawnmower is a vacuum cleaner for carpet but but you will learn what I mean someday
The lawn mower is set on its highest setting. Remember this is a lawn not a carpet. There is a difference between vacuuming and mowing. I haven't tried using a lawn mower to clean carpet, I feel like a lawn mower would not clean a carpet unless the blade is replaced with a brush.
Tip: if you’re mowing overgrown grass, lift up the deck all the way and walk slowly so the deck doesn’t clog up
The lawn mower is quite simple, but the efficiency is excellent.

Next time, adjust the length of the blade and mulch the grass by removing the side chute which will keep the pesky dandelions from coming back so fast
It's adjusted to it's highest level and I don't care about dandelions
How did you get rid of the those plies of grass on your lawn did you bag ‘‘em rake ‘em or mulch em

The lawnmower has adjustments on the wheels . First you start with the highest setting and then you go lower . Makes it easier on you and the machine
