- Welcome to my Lidl Japanese week grocery haul! This week I did my entire weekly shop for our family of five in Lidl and bought lots of things to try from their "Japanese week" range (even though I have little to no idea what I am going to make with it all, tips welcome!) When I do figure out what to cook, I'll be sure to let you know what we thought so make sure you stick around for that!

Absolutely love the Japanese selection you got!!! I absolutely love sushi but I have never tried to make it, my only advice would be to go get the rolling mat 😉

Maybe lower the heat in the pan a little. I’ve been known to set the odd smoke alarm off when making them 😂😂
I love a Lidl haul! However I certainly wouldn’t use that salmon for sushi 👎🏻

@Victoria_Foulger There's this korean youtuber, her name is planD. She rolls her kimbab by hand and puts plenty of things in hers. And I know what you may think, she's korean so she knows how to do that, but I think two years ago she tried making her own for the first time and now they just look so ice and yummy.
Very disappointing (but expected...) that this Lidl promotion is selling Vitasia which has a website where you can trace the origin of these products. Not made in Japan.
Most of the items state Japanese style so that’s how they are getting around that one.
