This is so rich and amazing. The creativity, concepts and ideas is breathtaking. I wonder why there isn’t a Netflix movie about the use of cowries as a means of exchange. It is so unique to us

Anyone who is truly Yorùbá by heritage, has to be proud of this cultural masterpiece and legacies. What makes me happy most is the fact that those who call our flagship Yorùbá state a No Man's Land, can now see from this bold statement and edifice, that the real owners of the land have made a bold statement of ownership. They can go to hell.

It's strikingly a flagship state for all Oduwas all over the world and for Lagos being a Yoruba land and not the so-called no-mans Lagos that some Nigerians will like to believe

For God sake, how on earth a Yoruba hub for culture can be named "John Randle Center".
For a foreigner, nothing sounds Yoruba in "John Randle Center" so it is misleading.

John Randle was a Sierra Leonian medical doctor who was one of the first West Africans to be qualified as a doctor in the UK. It’s about the person, not the name.

Don’t forget that Yoruba is a tribe and not a nationality, Yorubaland is larger than the boundaries of any West African country, this man could most likely be Yoruba of Sierra Leone because the Aku people are Yoruba people who were brought to Sierra Leone by the British Colonizers, like the Ga of Ghana etc
The Egba, Oyo, Ijebu etc are known domestic Nigerian Yoruba, but the tribe is more widespread than that.
It is the European colonizers that changed names, but that doesn’t change a person identity

I was just about to type this. Maybe this is why people are not visiting it. This was a huge marketing blunder.
If you build it, they will not just come. You have to market it as well.

The John Randle Centre was recently opened to the public, and it is already attracting a significant number of visitors.
