I just posted a video the other day about how to achieve super high magnification without any special equipment like sliders or dedicated macro lenses but this is even more extreme 😄Love the shots of the living things : )

great video as always, keep em coming,, can you explain a bit more abotu the lens set up,, in this video, are you using both Laowa + Raynox lenses listed,, or just the Laowa 25mm f/2.8 2.5-5X Ultra Macro?

    Cool!
Is there any way of avoiding diffraction with the diy magnification setup or do you have to accept that you loose some details?

Physic says no:) but.... there are micro lens wo deliver 2x-3x Resolution(2mp to 8mp). But those cost 700-1200 Euro per lens

Physics says diffraction limit can be circumvented…But maybe not with such an setup

Would you post the video of how to make this microscope. I looked through all your videos and can’t find it.

I love the enthusiasm and the display of what I presume are results? I put a Q mark as you didn’t actually make it clear, like here’s one I prepared earlier, it would have enhanced the concept, I used to use bellows back in the 80s and all my colleagues where amazed at what you could see, I’m interested to have more details about the set up and it’s relationship or advantage over bellows, but please don’t take this as a criticism, I immediately thought about schools and cost compared to microscopes and their fragility and cost, also the involvement factor of using a reasonably cheap set up with something that inspires! Very Good! DG

I am using laowa 100mm t2.9 2x magnification lens RF mount+ canon r6 with 77mm filter size. Could you suggest adapter to fix 4x microscope lens with it please.

Quality and unique post, Jens. Would a smartphone light (quite bright and narrow beam at close distance) provide good microscope illumination? A geared tripod head might also help in precise positioning. Hope you enjoyed the wine for those glases😊. Cheers!

The reselution with f5.8 is about 2.8 microns, which isn't great at high magnification
