Very nice curved shinny wood railing to the stair ways, there are some nice character about this house, hexagon 6 sided wash hand basin. Nice fire place in the basement. Nice bathroom it would seem the racoons favourite. I agree I do not like that black bathroom. I like the pale grey room with the valence and curtains but you went through it very fast Thanks Ethan as usual great video.
I didn’t remember seeing this one until you got to the black bathroom, then I remembered! Lol! I’m right there with you, black can be a nice accent color, but an ENTIRE bathroom? No thank you! I’m sure it was a beautiful home in its day, but with all the water damage and mold, I don’t see how it could be salvaged (even if the developer wanted to)
Traditional home. Too bad about the kitchen update. Why did anyone think that would fit in this house? The added on room was nice. Thanks for showing this again. I’m surprised it’s still there and still in decent shape.
Thanks Ethan..stunning house ,so big ..love it ..nothing wrong with it either ...another cracking hope being pulled down 😢....stay safe well warm and happy 💋
You’re right that black bathroom is just so dark and would show water spots like crazy. Just my opinion. But most of all this is still nice. Thanks for revisiting!
Sure would be interesting to know the story of this house. When new, it was probably great. But how did it get so creepy? The black bathroom was just too weird and the place looks downright scary from the outside. Another great video, Ethan!
Hey Ethan, thanks for sharing another exciting adventure!! This house is indeed massive, the spiral staircase is stunning & I actually like the black bathroom, maybe it's because when I was a kid I painted my bedroom black!! Once again it's sad that another mansion is going to meet the wrecking ball!! 👍👍🙂
Oh, the wood floors, the staircase and bannister, and all of those bricks, shouldn’t go to waste. I love the original pink bathroom. What a gorgeous house coming to its end. It’s sad to me.
This is a beautiful old 50's home and whoever built must have had a lot of money. I loved the hardwood floors and the fireplaces but the pink bathroom was my favorite. Thank you for revisiting it again before it's gone forever. I understand the weather in maine been the same. We got snow then it warmed up to rain and washed the snow away. But I prefer rain over snow anyway..🎉 Happy New Year 🎉
I suspect they did a major remodel of the house in the 80s when they installed a new kitchen (the yellow wallpaper appears to be from the 70s), changed the master bathroom to black, replaced the balusters (probably wood, originally) on the main staircase, installed a new hexagonal sink and new toilet in the pink bathroom. The mirrors probably date from that time, too. The tray ceiling and transoms over the French doors in the back room lead me to believe it and the laundry room were a later addition - possibly early 200os.
Thank you for showing this beautiful home, this beautiful home stood the test of time and it’s just a shame that they’re going to tear it down. 😢. I really don’t understand their method to the madness on these homes that can be repaired and be lived in once again but I guess up in your neck of the woods it is what it is anyways, Ethan and thank you for showing this, you take care and be safe over the weekend.🎉❤🤠. Have fun but not too much fun😮🎊🎉🪅
Nothing is wrong with house that can't be fixed quickly. They took care of this lovely home. Hate to see something so well made destroyed just for greed.
what a beautiful home the inside was very nice did not like the black bathroom it looked like it was burnt out by fire but the front of the home looked liked an English Manor they have in the UK but thank you Ethan for revisiting the home its beautiful on the inside as well as the out side
Hi Ethan. The outside of the home looks like a public school, but the inside is nice. The owners certainly took care of it. Maybe that small room was for a guest. Take care Ethan
Omg I was today years old!!! We live in a rental built in the 70s in the UK and have that insert in the worktop. Its a built in chopping board!! 4yrs of wondering! Thank you Ethan 😂❤
That small bedroom probably was a baby’s room What an awesome old home! I hate that it has water damage and mold! Other than that still looks like it could be updated and lived in! To bad they are tearing it down
I love this classic beauty!🤩 I didn't think it was creepy at all. It is a fine example of quality classic architecture. I agree the all black bath, was way extra 😗, a nod no doubt to ' 80s contemporary palette taken to a far extreme! The original pink bath though, was nothing less than amazing to me! The fireplaces were beautiful, and the staircase with the railings is incredible! I love the classic old brick exterior style! It's a shame to lose this one. ✌️
Hi Ethan Should call this one the house of mirrors. Anytime I see a house with lots of mirrors I think that a narcissistic person lived there. I absolutely hate that black bathroom EW🤮 I think you are right about the extension. This house had huge rooms except for that one upstairs. I don’t even think you could fit a bed in there never mind any furniture. I didn’t care for the mirrors in the kitchen either. That basement was creepy. Nice work Ethan. Thanks for bringing us along. Here’s to 2024🥂Stay safe and well.🎉
I don’t blame Ethan about that black bathroom that’s creepy if I had the money to bought this house I wood change the color how some one won’t it this color that’s weird and there bathroom but I guess that like that color
as I have probably said b4, this just kills me! I understand that the land is worth more then the house, but there is nothing wrong with this place. Sans a small amount of water damage, and built so much better then the Press board crap pile they are putting in its place. ARRRR! 😖 and who here wouldn't give their left one to be able to own a house this nice?
Hi Ethan 😎🏎💨,I noticed you said January,so was that Jan 2023? Lol Anyway hope you had an awesome Christmas 🎄🎅🏻😁and that you got to spend it with family and friends 😊🎄. Any the house is nice on the main floor aside the raccoon making a home there lol and I liked the fireplaces those were nice. The basement was alittle yuck lol , the whole house was huge. That was crazy seeing that crazy wallpaper where the fridge was. Anyway it’s probably gone now and it probably has a new mansion there now and probably has a pool there to so that’s cool. Anyway I hope you have a HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎉coming up and enjoy yourself 🎊🥳🎈🎈🎈🎉😁
Another beautiful home to be lost long before it should be. I find it preferable to modern McMansions Classic styling inside and out. Only needs some cosmetic upgrades. The fireplaces are especially nice. That huge living room wonderful for large family gatherings. The kitchen was large though I would replace the cabinets with warmer wood tones. The all black bathroom was not my taste. The basement would need mold remediation. Some of the basement rooms would need to be taken from creepy to pleasant. Then this could be treasure to a new family. The house seemed to be well built and well kept. Certainly built to withstand a longer life. I’m always against destruction. So sad and wasteful. Imagine adding a gorgeous sunroom some new landscaping and a big inviting pool and patios. Oh well. But thanks Ethan for sharing another beautiful home. Take care be well and stay safe!
I don't like the hexagon? shaped sinks, but the rest of the place is very nice. Only place I've seen that has only all wood/parkay? floors. Most homes have carpet throughout. Must have been cold and slippery with all wood flooring. It's a hazard for slipping and falling on those polished steps. What a sad shame they are tearing this down. You can't even build anything this nice anymore. Built in 1950's is not that old of a house. We live in one built in 1908.

New subscriber here, I really enjoy your videos! ❤
This was a real one Ethan. Too bad it's going to be demoed. Sucks, very wasteful. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
It's so sad that it's has to be torn down!!😢 Thets stinks!!! I hate when houses get torn down!!! Not fair!!!
Yes so sad that a beautiful Manson 😢
Hi from Australia 🇦🇺. I like this , but you’re right , that black bathroom is just wrong !

I have never seen so many curved staircases until I began watching this channel. They must be popular in Canada
That house is so cool .❤ inside an out I hope you have a great new year's 🎉🎉
Awesome Video Thanks For Sharing 👍

A good bright light. Thank you Ethan!
The front looks institutional to me . The raccoon had a blast in there but glad it got out , big house but lots wasted space xx

The stair case is breath taking

Beautiful house! Thanks Ethan !
Awesome old house
Thanks for the revisit

Why do all Canadians demolish beautiful welldone houses, whose are completely ready for living inside at once?
I wonder if the demolition crew is allowed to go through and get what they want before they level it

Hey Ethan
Merry Christmas 🎄 hope you had a wonderful day yesterday!
Dude - just in case no one has ever told you - you are a very attractive dude!
Wow! If you were in my neighborhood - it would be a great neighborhood and we would be good real friends - but I would love being seen with you!
Yes. Ethan SO HOT!
Lol
@@boudicca7181 LOL means:” I am a lazy member of society and all I can do is push down keys on a cell phone!!!”
That room looks like it may have been a garage, given the double French doors
Nice big house, too bad it was neglected.

great place Ethan. Thank you dear. Can I send you a Red Sox hat? I saw your Yankee hat. 🤣
Octopus has eight legs. Octagon. The other one is hexagon. That's how I remember lol
The all Black bathroom is 😎

This place just needs nothing major from what I can tell. Sad.
Dude. This is not a creepy one. You’ve been through a million of these by now. You seem to get more and more creeped out. Relax and enjoy!
❤ wazup. 😂 Nyear..
Now we know where Michael Jackson’s other glove went…
I’m with you-a big no on the all black bathroom. That is very creepy!!

I like the house but the renovations are terrible.
There is room for a microwave oven & a color t. v.

Pentagon is 5 sides, the basin has 6 sides Hexagon.
@@petertwining5729 Sorry. I thought it was 5.
Why is it creepy though?
