This was a beautiful and well kept home. Very convenient. Lots of storage. Basements are sometimes with low ceilings and attics are hot. Enjoyed this house.

Such a shame to see houses like that demolished. There was such good building materials and workmanship back in those days. There's things in that house that can remedied. Anyway, thank you for another awesome video Ethan. Had a good laugh with your senior moment 😂 cutting board. Hope you had a nice Christmas and wishing you a Happy New Year!

Definitely a beautiful home! Love the big windows throughout. And the built in butcher block cutting board - never see those anymore. That repurposed milk chute is very unique. The sunroom is to die for!! So sad this home has to go......

Remember the blue carpet in the eighties . And the wood toilet lids. Hated them. The would crack. Yuck! This was a great spacious find. So 70’s 80’s and a little 90’s. Keep finding these Ethan! Love the oldies but goodies!

Got news for you, 6'4"/6'5" is VERY VERY tall, so yeah, a low 7' ceiling would seem pretty low. Most commercial homes have 8' ceilings, but since that basement has a drop ceiling, that makes it lower. My husband and I lived in a cabin when we first got together that had a 7' ceiling, but as we're both around 5'6", it wasn't a huge deal.
It was fun seeing that plaque that said "Toronto," since I'd already identified the Canadian accent with your "oot" and "aboot" and etc. 🤣 Don't feel bad though, I'm from GA, and most folks like to make fun of my VERY MILD southern accent. 😜 I was a bit surprised at such large windows in a Canadian home; when my husband and I lived in Michigan, all the windows seemed so tiny to me. I suppose that was one of the renovations in this house, putting in those large, energy-efficient windows -- double-paned, maybe.

Another cool 50’s home to meet an untimely end. So many cool features like the fireplaces, the room dividers, the nice big sun room with those beautiful ceilings and so many great windows and beautiful light. Backyard so pretty and green with the red maples adding pops of color. Will there too soon be no homes left with backyard havens of peace or will there only be ugly high density housing. I much prefer land surrounding my home than neighbors too close. But I guess there are those who disagree, especially those pocketing the big bucks. Why would they put modern light fixtures up I wonder. Maybe it wasn’t easy to find good vintage fixtures because they were demolished along with so many good vintage homes. So sad. Thanks for sharing Ethan. Please take care, be well and stay safe!!

    Hi Ethan
This is a cool house. That basement was pretty big and a bit creepy. I absolutely
love that sunroom. As you said that was definitely added on later. The kitchen
could be nice if renovated, new cabinets, gas stove and new dishwasher and
so on. It’s too bad it has a date with the wrecking ball. I can’t believe people
lived there with mold. EW🤮🤢Nice work Ethan.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a Happy New Year and May
it be filled with lots of videos as only, you, Ethan can give us. Stay safe and
stay well. Be good.👍😊🆒. Happy New Year!🥂

I have never seen a floorplan like that before. The HVAC seems to be European inspired, installed from above. The storage corridor behind the rec room walls was very unique. A double height hanger rod in the Master makes me curious about the old owners. you are right, they must have freshened up the fireplace when they built the extension.....

The kitchen looked creepy alittle,I would of painted those cabinets all white just to brighten up everything lol. That old little door in the kitchen looks like a spice rack. I liked the glass door knobs those are really old but still nice. I liked the French doors.
