Check any unemployment chart. When has unemployment risen and we’ve not gotten a recession?? With how much credit card debt people have, amount of people living pay check to pay check, and the level of interest rates, unemployment will be the defiant factor that seals the recession. Even 25bps cut tomorrow will be not data driven but politically driven as they want to keep their jobs. Based on latest data they need to stay the course and not cut at all.
