Funnily enough, it is one of the games you can finish faster because you can literally run past most of the enemies and the bosses can be cheesed if you know which weapons are the good ones. As for me, it is just such a pain in the eyes watching the game outside cutscenes, that I can't stand play it to the end in one sit.

I've watched a lot of MMX7 reviews, and people never fail to offer a fresh take on this infamous game, which goes to show it's legacy of ruin, a masterclass on how not to revitalize a franchise. MMX8 and Command Mission are still some of my favorite games of all time and I have X7 to thank for those games existing. Eloquently spoken and well edited quality content, +1 Subscriber!
I will say one thing about the voice acting. Megaman X7, much like Megaman 8 and X4, were recorded in Japan with English-speakers actors who were living in the country at the time. Starting with X8, they switched the voice acting to Canada. This is something I think you mentioned in an earlier video, but I think it bears repeating.
Yep, instead of recording it in Toronto as with Resident Evil Zero and Devil May Cry...smh Lyon Smith would've been a good X, Julie Lemieux would've been a good Axl, Dan Petronijevic would've been surfer Zero before Gilbertson, and Scott McCord, Rob Tinkler and Jamie Watson would've been great as the game's bosses.... and then Lawrence Bayne could've played Sigma.
As a kid when i found out you could unlock x by saving reploids i would save as meny as i could in a stage. Then lose my lifes and go to another stage. Kept doing that till i got x then played the game
I mean...a lot of people say that X7 is less frustrating than X6, but I think my first playthrough of X7 was one of the most miserable experiences I've had with a video game. I just remember it being gut punch after gut punch, from running out of lives on the intro stage and having to do it all over again, to dying over and over to that God-forsaken plane section in Wind Crowrang's stage and having to watch that 15-second-long cutscene *every single time,* to not knowing what I was supposed to be doing for almost all the mavericks, to my heart sinking at the thought of re-visiting Stonekong's stage for an item, and being absolutely broken by the Red boss fight. I could go on, but I don't want this comment to come off as too long. Meanwhile the only terrible things I remember about my first X6 playthrough were the castle stage bosses taking too many tries.
X6 have some moments of unfair difficulty, and X7 have some moments of such a poor design it can be extremely easy and difficult at the same time. I mean, take for example the planes stage, you can take a lot of damage and or fall to death with ease if you try going slowly and take down all the enemies. Or you can just dash past most of the enemies and go straight to the boss.
They're both bad, like really really unbelievably bad, but I'd rather play X7 solely because there's a lot less unfair bullshit in it (It's still there in some areas though). X6 takes less time if you know what you're doing, but holy fucking hell does the game just love to fuck you over every single chance it can get. I hate them both, but where X7 is a miserable soul-sucking experience, I find X6 to be an unfair blood-boiling one. X6's music slaps tho
Yet to play X6, but I got through Air Forces without dying as much from falling from the planes, unlike the amount of times I died fighting Sigma's second phase alone. Edit: Okay, started X6 a while back, and I genuinely hate it. The amount of times I died all because of the Nightmare effects makes the amount of times I die from pitfalls in X7 seem fine.
@thegreatgonzales6813 I don't outright hate X7, unlike X6, but I definitely agree both are bad games. It's just I'd rather play a yawn inducing bad game than a rage inducing bad game.
I still rememeber playing this game on PC and its message about not being able to save. And like a madmen I played through most of the stages except the castle levels as I gave up on them.
If people's excuse for the game having slow and stiff characters is because it was running on the PlayStation 2, let me remind you of some games that showed off why PlayStation 2 was king doing its duration. Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 ran smoothly on the PS2 (even the slim version) and they had A LOT of animations, dynamic in-engine cutscenes, well directed English voice casting, and considerably fast movement of characters. The GTA games ran very well and had very large spaces to explore. Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2 allowed for fast-paced combat. The problem with this game is that they went from 2D to 3D without seeming to consult the people who made the MegaMan Legends games on the PS1. EDIT: People are mentioning a lot of different games on the PS2 that ran amazingly well, which I all agree with and feel bad for not mentioning. X7 has no excuse for the condition it came out in compared to all these games on PS2. I do not think playing new game plus as X should excuse how horrible X7 came out.
slow and stiff excuse doesn't work for PS2 thanks to the games you mentioned and also, Devil May Cry and God of War we're there which both are anything but stiff
Everyone says the soundtrack is great, but I barely noticed it during my playthrough because of all the beeps, pew-pews, and explosion noises drowning it out. No option to change volume levels of the SFX and BGM...
I read Red/Axl successfully blasting Sigma as him using every ounce of his willpower to use all the energy Sigma had to shoot him in the fucking face the moment he felt the connection was complete enough. Also, I love X's encounter with Tornado Tonion because it goes from "Hee hee funny rotund onion man :)" to "This living being is in agony and begging X to save him because he is becoming something that is no longer a person."
Yea, it's the same thing for me about X6, I have played X6 more then any X game, and that's fucking weird, I HATE X6, I hate it's stages, I hate Gate's Lab, yet I've played so many times that I breeze through it.... and have fun doing it... it's so fucking weird that I enjoy X6
56:34 Simple. Because the team wanted desperately to push Axl as a new part of the main cast and knew that nobody would play him unless they were forced to do so.
@12:44 nah, Zero just took up a smoking habit. He got hooked after all those times he burned his chassis self-detonating, get plasma blasted through the chest, or taking lava baths in random fire boss levels. Now he just can’t function until he’s had a smoke!
Until now, I didn't realize that X7 had some solid songs in the ost. I always hear about X6 having great songs despite being bad everywhere else (and I've played enough of it to agree), but some of the ones in this video are legitimately great.
Capcom's PS2 games at the time of X7's release had their numbers tweaked for the western releases, so that bosses took more hits to kill, level ups cost more, and so forth. Chaos Legion did something to the tune of multiplying the level up cost ten fold.
Axl’s genuinely my favorite of the hunter trio, he’s got a cool design and fun attitude. Unfortunately his debut in this game wasn’t great and his English VA in this game was way out of her element. Also X7’s soundtrack is way too good, I actually like the stage select themes and most of the Maverick themes more than X8’s. Code Crush is an absolute banger too, definitely my favorite vocal track out of all the X games.
52:07 This is why I love your channel, an MvC reference that only like 7 people are going to understand and the delivery is so damn funny man you're too good
Have to ask, I remember Jared pointing this out in his X7 video, Alia tells you about what a reploids ability does EVERY single time you get one and attach it too. Surprised you didn't mention that either.
@@ThatTravGuy Just curious It's funny, I've only really played two Mega Man games. I grew up with Mega Man 2, and still love it hard core. And love Mega Man X. I like X4's game play with Zero, but hated the voice acting. Haven't played it in some years. Be willing to go back to them someday Love your series, keep up the good work man
X6 still has the fast gameplay from the PS1 games and one of the best OSTs of the franchise. X7 is on the same level as Other M for me, I will never play it ever again.
The fabled X7 video has arrived. Also the last bad Megaman X game. At least in my opinion X8 was great and I finally got around to play command mission and I’m currently loving it
I found X8 really fun to play. Not fun like og's x1,2,3 or SPECIALLY X4, but x8 was kinda good, getting the armors and going through the really different stages was ok you know.
16:23 I find it really amazing that you reference this fact about Red. I've looked everywhere about where this truly comes from and hearing this be the answer is really cool and it gives the guy more character than X7 ever tried to tell the player. Honestly I think a better play would have been to just give Axl his own spin off game rather than the rough inclusion that was X7
Man, it's pleasing to see someone not just destroy X7. I mean it has a lots of problem but I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoyed it a whole lot. But I would love for it to have like one more year of development...
and I would love for it to have better VAs bc goddamn, this is awful. You're telling me they couldn't splurge for Lyon Smith, Rob Tinkler, Julie Lemieux, Alyson Court, Dan Petronijevic, Jamie Watson, Scott McCord, Martin Roach, and Lawrence Bayne?
Watching this video brought me the same frustrating PTSD that I had on my first playthrough when I played this years ago. God, I fucking despise this game with a burning passion (no pun intended).
Man, I used to not think much of this game other than being pretty mediocre, but I just replayed it a few weeks ago, and I have to say that I have no idea what was going on in my head. This game is HORRIBLE. I like to try to rescue all the reploids that I can (except the dude in Metal Shark Player's Dyanmo area; he got himself in that mess, as far as I'm concerned, he can get himself out of it), but in this game they all get killed by getting breathed on too hard. Plus Wind Crowrang's level and Red's boss fight, and the stupid gigantic health bars on hard mode... I just can't stand this game. The ONE redeeming quality this game has is that the Volt Tornado is the best weapon I have ever used in a video game
Fun Fact: In Mega Man X Command Mission, the music theme of Lagrano Ruins is actually a remix of the music theme in Mega Man X7 that plays during some of the cutscenes involving Zero and Axl.
Random thought, does this game's artstyle look like Honkai Impact 3rd to anyone else? Like, the shot at 1:00:52 looks very much like that, an unpolished version of it but just the same. In general, I think that this game looks really nice. I mean, sometimes it looks really nice. There are shots like the above mentioned that look great and nails the artstyle of a 3D anime with 2D influence, and a lot of the other times it just looks meh.
That idea about the additional heads being "akin to his final form in X4" makes sense when you realize his first form is sort of reminiscent of one of his forms in X4 too, which featured a purple machine with Sigma's head in it that held a purple gun not unlike the one he uses here. also the reference to X4 would fit given Red's history with Repliforce.
How the hell did you have my exact same experience of discovering this in a blockbuster and not being able to play it due to a scratch? Is this some kind rental conspiracy where people scratched the game intentionally out a sense of decent human empathy?
I just had an interesting idea here. What if there was a difference in gameplay between Axel and X. Axel would be the "Better to put them down route" while X would be "Capture and try to save them from being maverick". Zero would follow the lead of whoever he was put with. If Axel was in charge, then they get item parts to upgrade themselves while X would unlock areas that weren't accessible before. Also, before someone mentions it, I know that the mavericks are Axel's friends but it'd be more of a mercy killing/playing to the beginning characterization of Axel being cold blooded. A respect relationship where they both have different goals but know that this is just business and not to regret whatever outcome happens.
Axl is a really cool character, and I’m glad that they managed to fully realize the potential of his copying ability come ZX Advent. But even in X8, he feels like a more fleshed out character, what with equipping physically different firearms as all his boss weapons.
Well, like in X8, ZX Advent did improve upon the A-Trans ability that Axl has, but just like in X7 and X8 before it, the full potential is never realized.
Fun Fact to save yourself some headache in the future. Snipe Anteater is normally a huge pain in the ass to fight. However,X's charged Buster can pass through the cylinder and hit him on the opposite side.
I love this series and the videos. Just a couple of questions. Will you do the Zero parts together with the DS ones? And can I dream with a Metroid Dread video u.u at some point? I know the hard work you put in the videos and that they're not easy but I just want to have the hope to see this one day.
Lenne Hardt is indeed an excellent voice actress when given an actually good game with proper voice direction. Check out her work as my absolute favourite Tekken character, Anna Williams, in Tekken 5 if you haven't already!
She was also the ring announcer for the MMA promotion PRIDE, which was later purchased by UFC and folded. UFC Undisputed 3 features a PRIDE mode with Hardt back as the ring announver.
As a Mega Man X fanboy, I really, REALLY wanted to love this game. Alas, I have nothing at all that I can say to defend it. Wind Crowrang's stage actually sent me into such a rage that I hurled my controller at top speed, which unfortunately flew directly into the PS2 and forever fucked up the disc tray eject button (I had to use a paperclip to pull it out from that point on). Also, really appreciated the Vinesauce reference with the SPEEEEEEEEN'ing mech from Crimson Palace 1. Binyot is the man.
I'm honestly not entirely sure why this game is hated over X6 to a lotta people. I mean, sure, it's incredibly half-assed and BORING, but I'd rather it be that instead of incredibly half-assed and FRUSTRATING.
11:56 They did that with Kirby & The Forgotten Land with the Bridge. Demo you just cross it, Official Release you have to knock the bridge down and you get a proper intro. Immediately thought of this clip when I saw the Bridge was up. x3 "OH THEY RAISED THE BRIDGE, A NEW FEATURE OUTSIDE THE DEMO!"
I want a truly 3d mega man game. I loved legends, but I'd love to see the original games given full 3rd person 3d. I love x, just nowhere near as much as the original. I remember getting so excited seeing the article in EGM or Gamepro talking about 3d when x7 was in dev, then they go on to say not really 3d but 2.5d... I was so annoyed
Using Ride Boarski’s weakness on him is one of the most genuinely hilarious things I’ve ever seen. When you hit him with his weakness, he falls over and says “Holy moly!” That isn’t even too funny, but then it’s very likely he’ll get hit again from the aftermath of the blast and it just breaks me. I don’t know what it is, but something about a humanoid robot pig getting hit by a fiery explosion and falling over in the most comical fashion while saying the most amazingly poorly performed line ever, then getting hit by it again just makes me giggle.
I didn't even know that there was a New Game+ in this trash fire... But then again, I was so frustrated with this shit when I was younger that I quit playing it for probably 4 or 5 years before finally deciding to finish it off, and the ease of Sigma's two forms compared to the entire rest of the game made me glad to never put it back into my PS2. It's so weird to hear of people getting tired of the "Mega Man formula" when nowadays it feels like people finally settled into a niche of expecting a game to be a certain way. Really nitpicky critics are the only people I ever see give a game a hard time over being "samey" or too similar to its predecessors, there's not much that needs to change about being a blue robot that shoots other robots for being bad guys. If anything, I'd say that the formula got mixed up as much as it ever needed to in X5 - Swaping out characters on a per-mission basis was cool... saving reploids and getting power-up parts, however, was something that frustrated the piss out of me and I ended up never using power-up parts because of it... It's weird to attach a system like that to a game like Mega Man in general, I think. As a result, I didn't know about the stuff you showed off in this video and probably made X7 a much more miserable experience than it needed to be, but I'm a simple man and I just want to run towards the right and shoot things. All of that said, I agree that this game is generally better than X3. They both have a lot of the same problems, imo, this one just gives you ways around those problems. I really dig how Zero and Axl get different physical weapons depending on the special weapon they're using, and that's something that really set Axl apart, though I still wish he had been a reformed Dynamo instead of his own unique character - the transformation gimmick wasn't used enough to justify him.
I never felt the idea of x stepping down as a bad idea. Remeber he IS not a war robot. He was not made for combat, the buster was for self defense. Let not forget he watch the hunters fall apart in x1/x2. He saw the best chance for peace the doppelganger system become corrupt in x3. He watched helped to crush reploforce who just wanted to be left alone get. At the end of 5 nearly died/lose his best friend for a second time. See the whole would infected with a virus in x6. So yea I would think the 1 robot who can fully understand all this would think im done.
LMFAO many times during the video. You are so funny, but what was most hilarious to me was the comment about the cat. it was so random. "My cat is tearing up the chair" Aww, itsa kitty! Have you ever seen the game "Cat Alone"? Someone literally made a game just for kitties! I let my duck play it and he really seems to enjoy chasing the firefly around on the screen. It's so wild that duck bills work on touchscreens. Also, we need a MegaMan X based MMO.

X6 at least doesn't stop you every single little second. I gave up with X7 after two levels, the one with the motocycle thingy and never look back.
I thought that the "Runaway Mavericks" were the enemy robots in the stages, not the bosses.
Red refers to the 8 bosses as his friends towards the end.
A rough transcription of my two favourite RUclipsrs discussing the "wonders" of X7's weakness chain:
*Guy 1:* Uh, Warfly? ...Volt Tornado deals 1:9, which is more than for the others. 'sides that, nothin' new. [smiling] Sniper Missile 5, Explosion 5:7-
*Guy 2:* GOD FU%$KING DAMMIT
@@megapokesonicx You should use the regular attack, not the actual weapon.
Here's the exact moment (WARNING: it's in Polish): ruclips.net/video/zyn1NVfYBvM/видео.html
Oh I can tell with Lenne Hardt cause she was the PRIDE announcer I think
😨Seriously?!😟
Oh My God...
@@nanofate8662 Who?
Yep, instead of recording it in Toronto as with Resident Evil Zero and Devil May Cry...smh
Lyon Smith would've been a good X, Julie Lemieux would've been a good Axl, Dan Petronijevic would've been surfer Zero before Gilbertson, and Scott McCord, Rob Tinkler and Jamie Watson would've been great as the game's bosses....
and then Lawrence Bayne could've played Sigma.
It’s worth mentioning the Legends games were recorded in Canada too. By the same studio too.
As a kid when i found out you could unlock x by saving reploids i would save as meny as i could in a stage. Then lose my lifes and go to another stage. Kept doing that till i got x then played the game
Wow, now that was a big brain move
or just painstakingly play through the game once and get new game+ with x unlocked
I cheated X7 and couldn't be bothered to beat it. and X6 was beaten 5 times.
God of War, Devil May Cry, Mercenaries, Gta SA, Ninja Gaiden
The first two Ratchet and Clank, and Jak and Daxter games were also released at that time
Don't forget Ratchet and Clank 1 and 2 which run at *60 fps* with better graphics on top
the Megami Tensei games on the console, like Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne or Digital Devil Saga, look miles better and run beautifully
Watching this and J's Reviews back to back, I definitely appreciate the higher production value here
I've played X7 ironically so many times that I actually kind of like it now.
that's not enjoyment, that's Stockholm syndrone.
Kind of like me with X6.
Except I haven't played X7 yet.
Me too
Yea, it's the same thing for me about X6, I have played X6 more then any X game, and that's fucking weird, I HATE X6, I hate it's stages, I hate Gate's Lab, yet I've played so many times that I breeze through it.... and have fun doing it... it's so fucking weird that I enjoy X6
@@TheBlackSeraphIs it Stockholm syndrome to say Prime Hunters is terrible despite its good reviews?
god damn, megaman x6 vs x7 debates still happen to this day
56:34 Simple. Because the team wanted desperately to push Axl as a new part of the main cast and knew that nobody would play him unless they were forced to do so.
Is that a faint mgs alert sound I hear when you say "Red alert"?
@12:44 nah, Zero just took up a smoking habit. He got hooked after all those times he burned his chassis self-detonating, get plasma blasted through the chest, or taking lava baths in random fire boss levels. Now he just can’t function until he’s had a smoke!
Until now, I didn't realize that X7 had some solid songs in the ost. I always hear about X6 having great songs despite being bad everywhere else (and I've played enough of it to agree), but some of the ones in this video are legitimately great.
i recommend (our blood boils) sigma's first theme. it's a banger.
Infiltration (Crimson Palace 1) is pretty good too, if you want something more chill.
Battleship stage theme and Awake Road again (Zero’s intro stage theme) are my personal favourites from this game
Gungaroo stage its one of the bests
Capcom's PS2 games at the time of X7's release had their numbers tweaked for the western releases, so that bosses took more hits to kill, level ups cost more, and so forth. Chaos Legion did something to the tune of multiplying the level up cost ten fold.
what is the point of doing that
@@warrior_aa Dont be surprised, Capcom has a reputation of making incredibly stupid decisions.
Axl: Hey, honcho. I'm here to defeat you.
Ride Boarski: *And I took that personally*
Is it weird that some of the 3D modeling in this game is reminding me of the 3D modeling in Sonic Adventure?
Axl: I have to go now, my planet needs me.
(Note: Axl died in the way back to his planet)
...what ?
Axl’s genuinely my favorite of the hunter trio, he’s got a cool design and fun attitude. Unfortunately his debut in this game wasn’t great and his English VA in this game was way out of her element.
Also X7’s soundtrack is way too good, I actually like the stage select themes and most of the Maverick themes more than X8’s. Code Crush is an absolute banger too, definitely my favorite vocal track out of all the X games.
msot of the maverick themes? U mean the boss battle theme or their stage themes?
I also LOVE Axl
52:07 This is why I love your channel, an MvC reference that only like 7 people are going to understand and the delivery is so damn funny man you're too good
I’m in love with the FACT that someone made a cover of a Nickel Back song using Flame Hyenard. So they fixed the song.
Have to ask, I remember Jared pointing this out in his X7 video, Alia tells you about what a reploids ability does EVERY single time you get one and attach it too.
Surprised you didn't mention that either.
I think I subconsciously filtered it out, cause I wasn't bothered by it really.
@@ThatTravGuy Just curious
It's funny, I've only really played two Mega Man games. I grew up with Mega Man 2, and still love it hard core. And love Mega Man X. I like X4's game play with Zero, but hated the voice acting. Haven't played it in some years. Be willing to go back to them someday
Love your series, keep up the good work man
21:58, I just gotta point out, juvenile kangaroos are called joeys.
Everytime you watch a Scott The Woz video from here on, remember:
He would no longer be here today if it wasn't for Trav.
X6 still has the fast gameplay from the PS1 games and one of the best OSTs of the franchise. X7 is on the same level as Other M for me, I will never play it ever again.
The best part about X7 is how Zero sounds like he doesn't want to be here.
Sigma is in T-pose. I WONDER IF IT WAS TO SAVE TIME ANIMATING.
I forgot X sounds like a old man, zero sounds like a retired cop and axl sounds like an actual 12yo kid.
The fabled X7 video has arrived. Also the last bad Megaman X game. At least in my opinion X8 was great and I finally got around to play command mission and I’m currently loving it
I found X8 really fun to play. Not fun like og's x1,2,3 or SPECIALLY X4, but x8 was kinda good, getting the armors and going through the really different stages was ok you know.
dude, X8 is my favorite in terms of everything. except in the level design. someone went spike heavy. the music is soooooo good.
Command Mission is so sick. X's design is my favorite from the entire franchise. Bring back the holo-scarf Capcom!
@@oMaruMesmo Honestly I personally like X8 far more than 2 or 3 and possibly more than X1. X4 is the best though
@@TitaRussellTrails Yeah, definitely, X4 is the best megaman game out there.
@@dcb99filmzI would've preferred if Sigma in X8 was voiced by Tim Curry, so?
After hearing the studio behind X7 I just realized why the 3D movement seems weird:
Resident Evil Megaman X
and it has the RE1 tier voice acting (Red is Barry)
Watching this video brought me the same frustrating PTSD that I had on my first playthrough when I played this years ago. God, I fucking despise this game with a burning passion (no pun intended).
22:24 fun fact: if you switch characters at that exact moment in the game, you can actually hear him say "Triangle kick!!"
35:30 Holy s***! Gorilla on the plane! Where is he going?!
Two words: comedy gold.
The Axl cutscene killing Sigma would be so cool if it wasn't in this game.
I really love the designs in x7. I'd love for a fan demake of x7 either in the snes or ps1 style games.
Fun Fact to save yourself some headache in the future. Snipe Anteater is normally a huge pain in the ass to fight. However,X's charged Buster can pass through the cylinder and hit him on the opposite side.
29:29 was that a Bill Wurtz reference?
Get back on my megaman kick and all of a sudden there’s a new trav vid on the topic, yippee!
Bruh sameeee i was marathoning the whole series and i just got off 11 to see this video
42:25
Ah you should have went with X
hIs exchange with Anteater is so hilarious and perfectly sums up how the series handles it's storyline
I love this series and the videos. Just a couple of questions. Will you do the Zero parts together with the DS ones? And can I dream with a Metroid Dread video u.u at some point? I know the hard work you put in the videos and that they're not easy but I just want to have the hope to see this one day.
One day!
Incredible, you voluntarily went through X7 twice back to back in this day and age. I would double subscribe to you if I could
17:41 literally a god, considering that all the reploids were well replica of X
As a Mega Man X fanboy, I really, REALLY wanted to love this game. Alas, I have nothing at all that I can say to defend it. Wind Crowrang's stage actually sent me into such a rage that I hurled my controller at top speed, which unfortunately flew directly into the PS2 and forever fucked up the disc tray eject button (I had to use a paperclip to pull it out from that point on).
Also, really appreciated the Vinesauce reference with the SPEEEEEEEEN'ing mech from Crimson Palace 1. Binyot is the man.
🤣
I personally think the game feels like most of the intended story ended up on the cutting room floor in addition to all the other issues.
I'm honestly not entirely sure why this game is hated over X6 to a lotta people. I mean, sure, it's incredibly half-assed and BORING, but I'd rather it be that instead of incredibly half-assed and FRUSTRATING.
because x6 stills play well and is mostly functional, plus the levels aren’t that annoying under normal circumstances
That Marvel vs. Capcom Proton cannon quote caught me off guard
5:28 If you use Zero to guard with Solider Stone Kongs ability, you can completely negate the strike. This renders the fight even more of a joke lmao.
"Why must Reploids fight one another? I already had enough violence!"
Me thinking about X's characterisation in this game: "MEEHHHHH VIOWENCE!" LOL
Love the detail everytime Trav says Red Alert, you can faintly hear the MGS Alert noise.
“BURN BURN BURN, BURN TO THE GROUND, BURN TO THE GROUND,BURN TO THE GROUND”
- Flame Hyenard
11:56 They did that with Kirby & The Forgotten Land with the Bridge. Demo you just cross it, Official Release you have to knock the bridge down and you get a proper intro. Immediately thought of this clip when I saw the Bridge was up. x3 "OH THEY RAISED THE BRIDGE, A NEW FEATURE OUTSIDE THE DEMO!"
23:37 is the chair alright I need to see the chair!
Title: the unforgettable failure of Megaman X7
Me: the what of the what?
O guess we'll get 2 Megaman X7 reviews today.
Using Ride Boarski’s weakness on him is one of the most genuinely hilarious things I’ve ever seen.
When you hit him with his weakness, he falls over and says “Holy moly!”
That isn’t even too funny, but then it’s very likely he’ll get hit again from the aftermath of the blast and it just breaks me.
38:17 man this is a good forest to be wounded in
This reminds me of the times I had the game as my favourite, I miss being a dumb kid
Surprised you didn't mention the frame rate tanking during the Ride Borski fight. It's pretty freaking funny.
I litterally have been binging the x games thanks your reviews and have loved 6 out of the 8 games currently on sigma place on x8 thank you for introducing me to these great games
Ngl, this is some pretty high quality content from someone with a relatively low sub count. Can definitely see you taking off big time if you keep this up and refine a few things here or there. Good luck!
Splash warfly reminds me of Xever when he gets transformed into fishface in tmnt 2012
I like X7 enought to ranked over X3 and X6, I get that X7 is a terrible game in the franchise... But I also like that it try diferent stuff, Axl is legit one of my favorite characthers in the Franchise, I like the set up of the story, I like the lock on aim(Yes, I know) I feel like it works for this game, When X7 is Good, I really enjoy it, It also helps that I think the Voice acting is hilarious, In my first playthought I trully thought that X sound it like a bootleg Hank Hill, My biggest problem besides the bad charactherization of X, Is how they made Zero not fun to play, I big crime in my eyes, If I play X7 is only with X and AXL, because the game was design for them.
I aint sure if you were serious, but the "lava factory" wasn't manufacturing lava, but an industrial complex built around lava. The japanese name itself is just their word for industrial complex, kombinat or combine (don't ask me if they have other words and if there is any different in usage)
What timing, J's Reviews just dropped their X7 Rereview today. How joyous. It's like the game just dropped.
I HAVE LONG AWAITED FOR THIS TRAV, LET'S GO
Literally taking time off of my job to watch this. I'll let you know if I'm fired
45:13 F*CKING RAW
I've seen people bash this game multiple times and it's still entertaining
52:10 War Machine reference!
27:27 aww thanks man.
Great to see a new video and a return to Mega Man X.
I hear the general consensus is that X6's Zero ending takes place much further down the line than the game tells us.
