I personally struggle with my body image and self harm (I'm trying to make progress) and it's not something you turn into a meme or laugh about unless that's a coping mechanism. But these are so terrible that they're stupid.
I hate that a lot of kids pretend to be mentally ill because being quirky, no matter how harmful to one's self, is glorified in younger culture. I also hate that instead of remembering this kids are, well, *kids*, we make fun of them instead of actually talking to them. (Not directed at anyone here, just what I've seen).
