I love Gaga but you do realize she didn't really jump off the roof last night. That was prerecorded with the drones a couple nights beforehand. She was hanging midair in the dark while everyone thought she was standing on the roof.
Talith Johnson aw damn it, I thought so. I kept trying to find footage of her jumping but I haven't seen any of her taking the leap, I kinda thought it might've been pre recorded, but I hoped not. it was a smart idea though, I'm sure if she could've she would have done it day of, but better to be safe than sorry .
Brian C I think there were two major problems with doing it live. If it had been windy, the drone show might have looked bad. And for someone to take that leap it would take more than just a couple of seconds to stabilize enough to land on a small tower. I think prerecording it was the smartest choice.
Brian C It would be illegal for her to do it that day. She and Intel had to get a pass from the FFA to even have the drones in the air because they are illegal and a safety hazard. Even though that portion was prerecorded, the whole entire performance was amazing and she sang it all live!
Xavier Chris If it had been windy, the drone show might have been ruined. And it takes more than 2 seconds for someone to stabilize after such a high jump, so in order to preserve time it was best to prerecord it.
She could die if she does that really high jump with that kind of Harness, and with the one that makes her jump on the air takes a long time for her to stop.
that stadium was screaming in the beggining
Gaga the queen the one
omg you can hear them scream hahaha wish i were there
so the one cool part they decided to pan the audience omg

Talith Johnson right, they said they didn't want any weather to interfere with the drones. but it was still really cool thou
Social/\ Outcast Yes it was

Xavier Chris maybe safty
It was pre recorded for logistical reasons which means that she still had to jump, just not during her actual halftime performance
