Thanks so much for the encouragement! I hope and pray that others might heard that message and see the goodness of God and his love for them! Thanks for watching and sharing and may God bless you!
You're welcome! Glad it was helpful to you. It's not that hard to build, but boy does it make things a whole lot easier! Hope you enjoy your new puller. Thanks for watching and God bless!
Awesome tool modification it helped me with my log cabin deer blind and i Love the ending Brother keeping our eyes on the cross is essential, nature is the perfect place to experience his love!
Thanks so much for the encouragement and so glad it helped you! Thanks too for watching and as you said it's all about the cross and our relationship with the Lord who made us! God bless!
Nicely done. Homemade is the best. I don't have a welder or that kind of skill. Assuming I could get someone to weld the T for me, I think I'd try putting notches about every 6 " in the top side of the pipe big enough for 3/8" cable. Not deep enough to weaken the pipe, but enough to hold the cable and maybe on about a 30 degree angle to provide a straighter pull. Then make a loop of cable that will connect to the stake with a tow hook. Put the cable loop over the puller, hook to stake, put cable in notch at the desired distance, and pull away. Adjustment would be quicker and easier. Just release the tension on the pipe/cable, slide the cable to the next notch and pull again.
That would definitely work. You could even use a smaller cable with a loop on each end. Run the one loop inside the other, slip it over the pipe and then hook a link to the other loop. That way you can slide the cable up and down the pipe and when you go to lift it should tighten around the pipe. Thanks for watching and may God bless!
I had made one like you said about. I like the adjustment you got. I use a chain to pull rebar . Wrap it around the top of the stake and pull . And adjust the chain down further to pull the rest of the rebar out. I have problems also . Nice to see . Also I made my out of square tubing.
So glad you found the video helpful and your new stake puller is making your time out in the field a little easier! Thanks so much for taking the time to share and for watching and may God bless you richly!
I just use a dead tree limb laying around. Wrap the chain around the limb a foot or two up and lift the other end of the limb. Nice and easy, nothing to bring with you, nothing to lose and nothing to buy.
At last - I see a vid where someone can actually weld - hah! Thanks so much Frugal Sportsman for giving trappers this free gift. May God strengthen you brother - "Trapper Pete" - NQ Australia
Peter thanks so much for your kind words and you are more than welcome for the info! I hope you can put it to great use. Thanks too for watching and may God bless you my brother!
Thanks so much! This puller has been so easy to use and really saves the back. Hope it helped and have a great season! Thanks too for watching and sharing and God bless you!
Hey dnhaarre thanks so much for checking out our channel. Learning to weld will open up a whole new world of DIY projects for you and it is fun too! Great luck with that! Also if you need any advise or help with this project just shoot me off a comment. Thanks for subscribing too! God bless!!!
Great idea! Thanks for sharing. One possible modification would be to get a slightly larger diameter 3-4" length of pipe to slide over the long pipe and tap a threaded hole in this piece.
You're more than welcome! That's a great idea you had and would certainly work well! You could then attach a quick link using something like a muffle clamp and have a completely no weld system. Good thinking Bryan! Thanks so much for watching a sharing your thoughts! May God bless you and your season!
Great idea and great video. I don't have a welder but will use my ice chisel and wrap wire around and a quick link like you suggest and I bet it will work as the chisel is 5' long.
Thanks so much! Yup that is what I originally did was use a looped cable and choke it off and then just add a quick link. If the cable wants to slide down the pipe just add a hose clamp(s) wherever needed as a stop to keep the cable in place while you are pulling. Thanks for watching and God bless!
Glad you liked the video and thanks for the positive feedback! I would definitely encourage you to make one. It works better than anything I've used. Thanks for watching and God bless!
