Thanks so much for those kind words they mean a great deal to me! These really aren't that hard to make and work on so many species of fish and because of their size I think they will work great for fishing for panfish through the Ice! Thanks again. I so appreciate your support and may God bless you!

To the frugal sportsman: I prefer “self-reliant” siR. 😉
Nothing better than catching on your own gear.

Thanks for posting. I like to use 1/32 and under jigs with #8 or smaller hooks, but they are hard to find even if they are just jigs sometimes. I did get some though, but hand tied jigs that size are very rare...I thought about making an attempt on tying my own so thanks for showing me it can be do easily.

So glad you found the video such a help. What I like best is that I no longer need to go on the search to buy those smaller jigs. I can make them myself in any color any time. Thanks so much for watching and may God bless you!

You are so right! Pink is my granddaughter's favorite color and one of my favorite go to colors for fishing. It seems I can never go wrong with pink. Thanks so much for watching and commenting and may God bless you!

Thanks so much! I appreciate you encouraging words. The vise is a Supreme fly tying vise. It works great because it is a rotary vise as well. The cost on Amazon is around $27, but White river makes a similar vise that you can find at Cabela's for around $22. Here are the two links to help you out: www.amazon.com/Colorado-Anglers-102-Supreme-Vise/dp/B00J5YSAV8/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1KQCT2DULFA4W&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.H-5FaGuI4BtXKrkxNYPIQsbGi3HBfM2BbS1DDSAhHXk_eTTFu0f_KLyR7RT59Hqw3aSGQS7Zg_CsM1GlOZpwKFfPtJYcBkm7KmEuhzr4tzdaunpbIpVOek3caUVoHBU06SOg3-0CZfvxXbOH9Qzs6Ls-8E2kjiUbHUcdqRJW4haoeES48VGpssQ8pkCSALhocNC5CYOcZSfSO7DUcrUQSfmEI3_2LGcO1LGk-HwGZgDk2qvxOofXL9mR981QjLNGLs-jp-BbtlO_7b0OTf1oIZYrzSKCEiDFNDZFFFlp3lo.a4CZQlzjT5fXvxGndMMgH2xnkFKzmcmy6Ye-4lRf-c0&dib_tag=se&keywords=supreme+vise+fly+tying&qid=1713180894&sprefix=supreme+vise%2Caps%2C112&sr=8-1 and the Cabela's link is: www.cabelas.com/shop/en/white-river-fly-shop-super-ii-vise?ds_e=GOOGLE&ds_c=Cabelas%7CShopping%7CPMax%7CProprietary%7CGeneral%7CNAud%7CNVol%7CNMT&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwoPOwBhAeEiwAJuXRh-UujRnAjZT1GM3c1mg3QDMqRpCsco2qMfUXTrRtNPwCJZKRo_IP2hoC1aEQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds Hope that helps. Don't it work better with electricity 🔌 plugged in. The harbor freight has one for the cheep price. Just thinking about how I power coat Stuff on my race car but whatever works I just started last year fishing for bass. Trout a hook and lead baits in jar's Eazy to do simple. How my dad tat me and his dad tat him. Just a few things very light in the northern N.M. all new to me my youngest son told me that I had nothing for fishing 🤷🏼 didn't understand him in till I seen his stuff. This is not cheep even close to trout fishing like I did for 35 years. I only had 3 rods nowadays after a year 23 rods and backpack and 3 bags of stuff. I didn't think it was like this and trout fishing I've moved up from 6 different fly's to having 54 different types now 4x5 box to 12x11 box I'm getting ready for winter.

Fishing can be addictive that's for sure. The great thing about making your own lures is that you can gift them to friends and family for minimal cost once you have all the tools and equipment. Get out there and have some fun. Thanks for watching and may God bless you!
