The best career advice that I learned is don’t ever attach your-self to a PERSON, a place, a company, an organization or a project. Only Attach your-self to your mission in life and your PURPOSE. That’s how you keep your power and keep your peace!
Amen and amen! You know that’s right! The sooner in life we learn that the Better.
Amen
A life free of attachment, sounds like a rather lonely place to be at times. Their is something truly beautiful in experiencing the pain of grief and loss. Just my opinion.
still fighting for medicare for all
Well go tell that to Asian america or whatever the hell you are. Black people need order and to stay the hell away from liberals and other nations attempting to give solutions.
Let em know Regina!! You can make a movie about em without showing them dying! But being human and living as one of us ✊🏾✊🏾
Wow u aren't racist
@@mrwhocares3931 the hell you talking about
Yes indeed
Admittedly, have not seen it. Have heard nothing but positive things! So proud of Regina! The teen on 227, to Janet's homegirl in Poetic Justice to Ray and everything else, to now! Keep winning Queen.
✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾
I'm bursting with so much pride, come on, Regina King the director and Leslie Odum writing that beautiful song Speak Now. The acting was on another level from all of them.
That movie was totally nonsense and false.
@@blackknight5339 how so?
@@deeqam.9023 How so? Have you read a book or heard words from Malcolm himself
@@blackknight5339 yes I have. What about the movie was so off from reality? Keep in mine it’s based on a true story that dosent mean any of it actually happened exactly how it happened in the movie.
@@deeqam.9023 No you haven't, proof of which Malcolm X wife Betty was in Miami with him she wasn't in New York as how the movie described him going to the phone to call his wife 2nd Ali nor Sam Cooke would dare not try and fight brother Malcolm that was a childish and ridiculous for her to even make that up and put that in the movie. Also Malcolm never went to a concert and seen Sam Cooke preform and say he admired him pure garbage and when they all attacked Malcolm for his disapproval of JFK total ridiculous and false on the writers of the movie. And they way the depicted the Muslim body guards with Malcolm as silent cowards thats nonsense. You haven't read anything on Malcolm or heard him speak you would have known this.
RIP Malcolm X (May 19, 1925 - February 21, 1965), aged 39

You will be remembered as legends.
I was just talking about this last week when I said that the 4 most powerful men of the 1960’s were all friends.... truly remarkable the impact they had on the black culture.
You know this is a fictional story right?
@@9009matorres What does that matter? The message still stands.
I just watched the movie and it is totally breath taking. An exhilarating performance from the actors portraying Jim Brown, Malcom X, Muhammad Ali and Sam Cook. Two thumbs up!
The black avengers. Thank you queen for making this movie!!!
Real heroes no Disney

It was almost good but it had No Shaq as Steel. No deal!

My Lord and my God. I just saw this movie today. It's such a master piece, the emotional weight of the movie got to my very core. Thanks Regina for paying this wonderful tributes to these legends. Wow...
I just watched this the ending made me cry so hard because Malcolm x knew so much but it was hard to get them to understand he was just on another level
So acknowledged Muhammad Ali toward the end of his life.
I am central European. I know those times were very hard,at least i know from movies, articles, music and History Lessons, But there was Something Magic at the same time. The movement, the passion, the Unity, the mutuality... The History of Afroamericans was very painful and sad. But these PEOPLE created a wonderful culture in America. better than Will Smith did in Ali?

@@darnellmiller1215 thats fair. I still really want to see this movie. Im a big time Ali fan. Terrific movie. I like that an actual great singer played Sam Cooke.
He actually wrote all the songs and was smart enough to keep all his rights, too...
@@windsofmarchjourneyperrytr2823 Otis Redding also had rights to his songs which his family was able to benefit from.
I dont care if this is historically accurate or not. The premise alone is COOL. 😎
Well, I mean, it did happen. Not exactly as cleanly as it is portrayed but it happened. I'd love to see the Summit in Cleveland turned film too.
It was garbage and definitely not accurate.

It’s crazy how Jim brown is the only one still alive and Sam and Malcolm died one year apart
same thing i said watching the movie
However, MalcolmMalik, Ali and Sam are still living through us, "lest we forget".💞💞💞 Jim Brown you are dearly loved and greatly appreciated. Right on right on💪🏽❤
Connect the dots that links those of that time still being alive, sitting in political positions, or on tv today; to those of that era being killed. I'll give You a clue, with the exception of MLKJr, those dead had Our interests at heart. Those alive, are doing the bidding of their masters.

I love the premise of this film. What an intriguing looking movie.
When things were at their very worst:
2 Suns, Cross in the sky, 2 comets will collide = don`t be afraid - repent, accept Lord`s Hand of Mercy.
The first sign - the Earth will spin faster.
The second sign concerns the sun, which will loom larger, brighter and begin to spin.
Scientists will say it was a global illusion.
Beaware - Jesus will never walk in flesh again.
After WW3 - rise of the “ man of peace“ from the East = Antichrist - the most powerful, popular, charismatic and influential leader of all time. Many miracles will be attributed to him. He will imitate Jesus in every conceivable way.
Don`t trust „pope“ Francis = the False Prophet
- will seem to rise from the dead
- will unite all Christian Churches and all Religions as one.
One World Religion = the seat of the Antichrist.
Benedict XVI is the last true pope - will be accused of a crime of which he is totally innocent.
- banking collapse was deliberately masterminded by the Antichrist
- Antichrist will step in and create a false peace in the state of Israel by joining them with palestine in an unlikely alliance.
- „He will recite extracts from My Teachings, which he will passionately proclaim from every secular stage in the world, until people sit up and take notice of him.“

Regina. Queen Regina. The best🔥🔥
This was also the year that Jim Brown would win the Super Bowl for the Cleveland Browns, the last time Cleveland would win a championship until LeBron James
Cleveland Browns never won the super bowl. they won the NFL championship the year before the NFL made an extra game for the best team in the NFL to face off against the best team in the AFL before the two leagues merged
This was a awesome movie Regina king did this I see a Oscar 🏆coming queen 👑 ❤️’d it
I came here after watching "One night in Miami" and the character played by Kingsley Ben Adir was amazing and portrayed all the emotion and frustration and even fear if Malcolm X. Having seen so many documentaries of Malcolm X, this movie made me almost cry (now I'm someone who rarely cries after a movie, last I cried was probably 1998/99) Malcolm X, for some reason appeals more to me than MLK, don't get me wrong I respect both but the more I see and know about Malcolm X, the more I feel his importance compared to MLK
He was more Important but due to his religion he never got whatever he deserved not like MLK, that's just my opinion
Amazing, but hope they make Muhammad Ali silver tounged like he actually was instead of making him talk like a brute
They did somewhat. Just watch. It’s awesome

This movie is gonna be amazing.
So apparently, you haven't watch it yet. It's awful.
This movie is perfect for this time in america (2021) w all this hate and negativity we live in. To show 4 iconic black men who were strong and inteligent men of American past is necessary right now. A clear message that black people are not only what many movies depict them as. And as for the actors, im glad to see them getting strong important roles a way lot more in Hollywood now. I may not be a brotha mysel but Im proud to see people of color in progression. A clear example us minorities can accomplish great things when they give us equal treatment and judge us by our intelligence, hearts, skill and skin color not a factor.
Research the Mitochondrial Gene that is within ALL of us. We Are One!
This movie is a masterpiece
One sad thing I couldn't help notice in the movie that seems to ring true in real life when it comes to so-called Black militancy; the character of Jim Brown was real anxious to "throw down" with one of Malcolm Xs security guards, a fellow man of color during the roof top scene...but when the racist white man, played by Beau Bridges insulted him by stating: "you know we don't let 'ni**ers' in the house," Brown didn't raise one finger, let alone his voice.
Interesting observation, huh?
I have an Observation. In that last 5 years more movies of racial inequalities have come out. If you notice the timeline of those movies are always the 60's and before. How come? Because the SJW cancel culture needs fuel to fire the hate for White males in today's culture. Racism in today's time is not nearly as bad as back in those days but in order for them to fuel the hate they need a reason to get people upset about an issue that was basically resolved more then 50 years ago. oh im sure there's always racist people in every time period. Take BLM for example, or ANTIFA, but for the most part most American are not racist. Also All lives matter and every culture and ethnic group, regardless of race or color have people in it who are prejudiced, racist, and hateful. No ones immune to it.
Racism has never been "resolved" in fact it has EVOLVED to a level of subtle justfistication that makes certain people feel like everything is fair again to the so-called African American...but be that as it may, my emphasis was not on white racism or white oppression, for that matter...as a Black man, I have always listened to the battle cry for self love, Black unity as an epic necessity for progressive cultural perseverance...yet, we are very quick to pounce on one another the way one would kill a roach in the projects...but will think twice, three times to defend himself against a white attacker...and the scenes I pointed out from this GREAT film provide a daring example of reality in Black ideology...and that in and of itself is a product of a slave, racist and oppressive mentality...trickled down from hundreds of years ago.
@@darnellmiller1215 thats is 100% accurate...Zimmerman and other racist that gunned down innocent people are still walking the earth..where are all the " tough guys" now? We are too docile when it comes to white folks! I'm sorry but that's just the truth.
Context matters here i believe. If someone puts hands one me I try to have restraint to an extent but if you touch one of my friends and you aren’t a part of our “group” we are going to have problem...Also I think Jim brown didn’t confront him because of everything he’s said prior to the racism. You can even tell on Jim Browns face he confused with the kindness and just stood there perplexed after he said “no n****** in the house” He explains later how he hates those people more than out right racist.
@@PM-bs2mf you clearly are uninformed and sound racist t(could be wrong but I’ve heard this bullshit from outright racist enough to know). Work on your observational skills you fucking snowflake.

THIS was one of the BEST movies I have ever viewed in my life. The actors were brilliant...ALL of THEM, even the brothers who played Malcolm's FOI security guards were awesome...oh and Nicolette Kloe Robinson is one beautiful woman, wow! When is it out?
I really enjoyed this film, quite good in several areas, acting, writing, directing. set designs, costumes, evoking that mid '60s era, the beginning of civil rights. Four stars (every time I use 4 asterisks it mysteriously changes to 3, so I gave up and just write it).
