I ran black pipe for my air system. Two separate drops and air lines. One had an oiler and regulator for air tools. Second ran dry air and regulated down for paint spraying. Also had desicant air dryer using pellets. Built it myself and worked great.AL B.
I plumbed my shop for air 3 years ago with a kit from Northern Tool. I don’t recommend them. After a year it started developing leaks. After 2 years of chasing leaks I’m going to tear it out and go hard pipe.

Did you run mostly 1 inch, that’s kind of the way I’m leaning
I prefer copper lugs also. They don’t oxidize like aluminum does which creates resistance and excess heat.
