@@PrettyFLY4aWiFi. I think you need to correct your thought process on what folks are using here. Folks haven’t used roids since the 80’s or possibly early 90’s. There are tons of other things many, maybe most athletes use, that don’t assist them as much as roids, but, help them in training and recovery. Essentially, helping them build the physical traits that allow them to train longer & harder, as well as have more endurance. None of this is roids, and they must still put in major training. The sneaky stuff they use today that pass drug tests don’t have the extreme results of roids. So, when you see an amazing performer who may be using some type of enhancement, please note, the enhancements only go as far as the hard work the athlete actually puts in, and allows them to reach their peak potential based upon that hard training! I totally get what you’re saying here, and you’re not exactly “wrong”! I just tread gently with the topic.

The Women's 100m world record is an absolute stain on the event - As are many other records, mostly in the female events, where drug use pre 1988 affected female performance to a higher level than men. These drugs essentially made women turn into men, whilst men became slightly stronger men, hence why the male records of this time, bar some throwing events, have been beaten. Flo Jo was beautiful to watch, but has destroyed any hype around existing athletes, who can't even come close, as good as Richardson looks. Yes indeedie TRP, the talent of this young athlete is ridiculous. Certainly one of my favorites in the short sprints BUT for one caution: that she hasn't peaked too early given the extremely long Olympic year season. Wish her the best for this season and look forward to seeing her progression. Thanks again "and always" TRP another another great video.

Copious amounts of drugs that's what. Drug testing was a joke then, and guess what, it's still is a joke today.
But flo jo paid the ultimate price for it.
Yeah I'm hearing rumblings Olympics may be cancelled. Japan having a Covid Surge and internal pressure mounting for Japan to cancel.

She's the best!! She will break this record. Keep your head up and always believe in yourself. My favorite sprinter to watch race since the great Michael Johnson once ran. Competing in the 200m is only gonna get you to where you need to be to break this old 100m record. Love you!
