Aww this mount looks amazing, the little paddling, flapping and emotions animations are such a great touch! Im always pretty gutted when they just apply default music to mounts tho, arg! This mount would have been absolutely perfect with some DT music, even Living Memory music would have been amazing. GG on the 100s and thanks for sharing Meoni!
Making a mount with a bunch of emotes seems like a reasonable compromise between a mount that's very very desirable, like the amaro, and a garbage reward like that feathered headdress from EW. A way to show off without pissing off the casual players too hard.

Historically, the mounts that have the theme music for an expansion (also on title screen) are the mounts from getting every extreme mount. I confirmed this on: Kirin Firebird Kamuy of the Nine Tails Landerwaffe I haven't gotten every kitty from EW yet (need Rupicante and Zeromus) but I suspect this tradition will keep going.
Kind of ironic that the title for getting all your classes to 100 is called Life of Adventure when your real life must be void AF if you have that as a short term goal.
The facial expression with the little "hops" on that 3rd mount animation is... yeah, gonna be a lot of people zooming in and spamming that one I think, lol.
Really nice reward, and the variety of emotes makes it even better. While I don't think only getting a hat in EW was going to please that many people after getting a mount in ShB it is important to remember that ShB was actually the outlier on that front. Usually we do just get hats. The bigger issue though was that the EW headpiece was hideous. People may have eventually been okay with getting a hat but it not being a mount AND being goadawful ugly was the real kicker.
For whats it's worth I think this is so far the best Life of an Adventurer reward wich really isn't saying much. Well it's mostly about journey anyway but still when comparing the rewards to time investment I found them all pretty underwhelming tbh.
What about people that might not like the idea of leveling certain jobs while running daily roulettes/dungeons like for example tank/healer classes? I myself don't feel comfortable doing such things for my tank and healer classes. And my Trust is like... still Stormblood level (mid level 80's). Could in that regard say Society Quests or just doing the Duty Support runs help?
I love the mount, but I don’t see myself getting it unfortunately. Nowadays I only max level the jobs that I like, because it’s honestly time consuming trying to max level everything.
Well, I don't see myself riding it more than once, but at least it's a mount. Better than endwalker's all 90 reward. Seriously, that shit was a slap to the face and a kick in the balls.

They do sit differently. My male Elezen has his legs dangling in front which obscures a little bit. I tried to find a similar mount with same sitting posture but didn't find one to recommend for comparison.
I mean, basically, that screen is floating inside a glass bubble... Not... my favorite mount... this wont make me speed up my leveling process... at all... ... but the fourth emote is fun. The feather headpiece wasnt bad but it was undyable which made it bad... and basically unusable because you couldnt combine it with 90% of glam choices... ... Its not a bad mount... but I wont use it either.

if you got archer (for example) to 100 without acquiring bard at 30, should still count, I think for the level 100 achievement, as archer and bard XP is shared
Well, I had hoped to surprise myself by finding out what the mount was when I got all my jobs to 100, so it is ironic that your video opens with a spoiler warning while your thumbnail and title spoil what the mount is.
finally a reward for getting all jobs to 100. i miss when we got a crown for it, but i'll take the mount. i don't think there was any reward last expansion.
And for all of the time you have to put in to get it the mount doesn't even look cool. All the effort you have to put in to get everything to 100 and this mount is the best they could do you would think it would be more epic.
Meh glad I waited for a preview there is something difficult about seeing ff14 mounts in 2d and in game they look and behave COMPLETELY differently then how you imagined it or the static 2d image made it look. Dodged a bullet with this one. It's way too fluberish in it's movement if anyone even remembers that obscure 90's comedy.

Frontline roulette gives a ton of exp and you can swap to another job and still get the exp on the job you queued in as. Then there's wondrous tails and beast tribes. You never have to run a single duty on BLM if you don't want to.
