My grandfather, a week or so before his death we hang a picture of Jesus above his bed. From that day on , we could turn the light in the room out because he said that the picture was giving light. It was special, because it was just weeks for his death.

I promised a dear friend that I would pray for her after she died. I try to remember her always and pray for her when doing my rosaries of course I pray for many more I was told that they can prayfor us.

I lost my High School Sweetheart back in 2002 from Cancer. I lost my only Son in 2019 from Cancer and I lost a dear friend about a month before my Son's death from cancer. I miss them all every day. I wish I could meet a Saint with the locutions of Maria Simma and find out where they are now? Still in the Great Hall? Paradise? Or Heaven? The older one gets in this World , the more loss they will accumulate. I'm thankful I had a dream visit from my Immortal Beloved back in 2002. It prepared me in some way for the loss of my Son and my other family and Friends over the years.
I can’t begin to imagine your pain and grief. I think in that book you will find some answers. Pray for them, if they are already in Heaven, some other soul who needs it will receive it, but if they are in purgatory for one reason or another - they will be so thankful for your love - but never forget to ask for their prayers - that’s what’s most powerful - ask everyday for peace - and with that peace that will console you - you can then console others.

Thanks. Too many deaths but having to watch your Child get taken down slowly with Colon cancer was a bit too much of a cross. The mental anguish he suffered because he wanted to live was horrible. The same for my Beloved Soulmate at the age of 42. April was a cruel month for her.. but Hopefully they all had little or no purgatory and their suffering is over. Watching America get taken down by a Cabal of rich Lucifarian Globalists is another suffering. As bad as watching a Loved one die a slow death from cancer.
Please tell me how you go on and find purpose? I am so terrified of grief?
Every saint that spoke of Purgatory all said the same thing, the souls in Purgatory cannot help themselves but we can help them. So how great do we add to their suffering when they know we can really help to free them or ease their suffering with prayer, and we don't. I always pray for the souls in Purgatory, but it is very important to know that though we pray for them to help them, there is a great benefit to us in helping them. Because when we die and if we end up in Purgatory, all of those souls we helped will be so grateful for our Prayers that all of them will never stop praying for you till you are freed. None of my friends are very religious even though they have a faith, but I despair when I hear them say that their deceased family member or friend is now with God in heaven . That assumption is so wrong. I knew many of these deceased people and I am pretty sure they did not enter Heaven after death simply by the way they lived. None of them were remotely saintly when alive. I could be wrong too and I know that also, but you cannot assume they went straight to heaven nevertheless. The other thing I was taught to do was that when you put Alms in the poor box for example, you offer your act of charity on behalf of the Souls in Purgatory. And every now and again I pray the Hail Mary and I offer it for a particular soul, maybe a deceased friend, neighbor, or work companion etc. Or I offer it for a soul in Purgatory that is really suffering and is desperate for a prayer. I mean what does it take to offer one simple prayer for a soul in Purgatory that really needs it.

The thought that the Holy Souls are completely helpless without our prayers is disconcerting. I try to imagine myself in their situation. I started to pray for them by Mother's instructions from Medjugorje. Through their intercession, they have helped me as well.
Yes Joey - sorry for the late response - but you understand - they are helpless - because they are self-less- you know why they are helpless - because in their humility they refuse to pray for themselves - they only pray for others - and they wait patiently until we help them -

One thing you mention in one of the episodes: the average time spent by a soul in purgatory is 40 years. There's no time on the other side though. Did you mean a very long time which in our early terms would equal to half of someone's lifetime? Btw, thanks for the beautiful series, very needed. You never really hear much about that in church. I believe if Catholics are more aware they'll have the motivation and the understanding to pray more for the holy souls. Thanks again

I love this book. Read it two or three times. Lost it. Bought it again. My son destroyed the first one because he didn't like the contents he needs prayer thank you, Maria simma because of you I pray you rosary everyday for the poor souls in purgatory
Read the book many years ago and enjoyed learning Maria's input into her faith, in plain English.
I missed the opportunity to meet Nicky Eltz when I was in Medjugorje in 2006-2007.
What a wonderful read it was. Unfortunately, from past experience, though I've not tried more recently, it was not so easy to get hold of a copy!
i have the same thing many soul try to connect me through the dream but i didn't take it serious but then i realize why it happened to me and started to pray rosary then they disappear in a month.
Same exact thing with me. I’d have vivid dreams almost every night of one of my friends who passed, I figured he was asking for my prayers, I started praying the Rosary for him and the dreams stopped

I believed in God Father, Son, Holy Spirit in One God and I believed In Purgatory, ,, because God is pure of Mercy,,, Our Soul belongs to Him, came from His breath….but we put stain, dirt, sin to our spirit as we are a weak person… Theres no way we can save ourselves but to grace of God alone.. Thats why when we die, we deserved to be punished or cleanse ourselves in purgatory trough the help of prayers of others, so help us Saints and Angel to pray us and soul in purgatory.Amen.

Very inspirational. My belief and interest in Purgatory is strengthened when I heard of Maria Simma. I certainly would like to read this book. I'm into visions and revelations, they help strengthen my faith. But, I do remain skeptical because I sometimes wonder if they're just hallucinations or delusions. There have been ones debunked in the past, but there is much we don't know about the mind. I also read the reviews for this book, many people say this book is great! But one guy says that she talks about how the soul of Marshal Hermann Goring, one of the most powerful members of the Nazi party and a convicted war criminal came to her for assistance. Is that anywhere in the book because that sort of makes me wonder about these visions.

Wonderful teaching!! I'm very interested in this subject.please continue with more content on this subject. How many people have gone straight to heaven ? If we've been praying for someone in purgatory how do we know if they're still there? How do we know if someone is in the worst part of purgatory or if they are in hell? I hope you will address my questions.
Cleo - we don’t know how many people have gone either to Hell, Purgatory, or Heaven. Most saints and mystics seems to agree that few go directly to Heaven, many go to Hell, and most go to Purgatory, although we don’t know what the numbers are. We can sometimes, by having a sense of peace, know that someone may be in Heaven - in either case - our prayers will always benefit someone - even if the person we are praying for is in Heaven already. No prayer is wasted.

Alvaro, you said that in the book it says that in the lowest realms of purgatory, Satan can still attack the souls there. Why would Satan waste his time attacking those souls, knowing that they are saved and that he can’t do anything to cause them to lose their salvation? What reason would he have for doing so?

Why are some of us able to receive the souls of pergatory and others not.?

How do I enlist their help specifically for a family of of souls in need of many miracles? Can you recommend some specific prayers? Litanies? I did have a small book of a novena to the holy souls book and many others but they seem to be displaced for now.
I would go to the cemetery find the largest one you can find. And spend 30 minutes to an hour there and ask them for their intercession with great fervor. Insist to them - “Do you want my prayers? Then I need your help…” don’t be afraid to be bold

Thank you so v v much for this teaching!! Could I ask you to give a few samples of souls, who while in Church with Jesus in Repose turn Church into a Social Hall! Our Pastor does want more silence and this is happening ever so slowly. My concern is when we meet for prayer for whatever reason, people do not recognize and more accurately, are indifference He is shown is beyond my comprehension. The King of Kings is right HERE over There and they choose to chat as though they were in their own homes intertwining people! I greet people w a smile and keep on walking! I then call someone if I need to find out how they are doing! We have phone, text,email, instagram and talking after Mass or prayer time outside of Church! How do we know it's okay to read Maria Simma's book? I tried to do research online but there's not much info. I know there's an imprimatur So that's comforting some But one website stated that there were some heresies in the book... 😖

With all due respect, your description of the origin of the Church's origin concerning purgatory is limited to the early Church and without any other reference except a type of logic; this is error and is open to unnecessary attack by those who do not believe the teachings of the Church on purgatory.
I suggest you do more investigation on this subject. I am very, very far from being expert on this subject, but may I suggest you begin with Catholic Answers and/or the Second Book of Maccabees of the Old Testament or Torah.
Where in the Bible is pergatory
Jesus speaks alot about hell and heaven, yet He said nothing about purgatory, even Paul never mentioned purgatory.
We are told that those of us with stains on our soul will remain in prison until every last debt is paid.
Praise God for the mercy of Purgatory. Nothing imperfect can enter heaven. If you died right this second, is your soul spotless enough to enter heaven?

There are no souls in Purgatory. Purgatory is a fiction, a literary creation. The Bible contains not one reference to Purgatory.

Purgatory is like a child plays outside all day and come home late. He wants go to bed because he is so tire. But his parents told hm to go take a hot bath and wear clean clothes to bed. Time spend on bathtub is how dirty he was. All of us will spend time in Purgatory because no fallible men are so clean to enter into Holy Heaven. Ask why Moses had to take off his sandal front of temple of God at the burning bush.
Btw, once you get there you shall know.
The Bible also does not refer to itself nor ever mention the word “Bible” - the Catholic Church actually codified what officially belonged in the Bible - therefore to take the Bible out of the Catholic Church is absurd stealing a family photo album from a home and going on to tell the family what the pictures mean - instead of asking them - and you might say “the Bible is my authority” but that’s completely untrue - every denomination out there believes different things - even though they claim the one Bible - that’s why you see Pastors who really know their stuff - realize the absurdity of the Protestant beliefs - they don’t stand the test of time
