It was very sad that Naushadji never gave an opportunity to Talat Mahmood to sing after Babul. The only apparent reason was Talat smoked before him which he did not like.
It did not hurt fame of Talat but we definitely missed many more hit songs like Babul which Naushad and Talat could have given if there were no rift between them.
