Mighty fine! You gain a lot with the 2.2s, and your rig can handle the extra girth with torque and nice servo! Probably don't even need wheel weights on them!
Very nice. I was thinking of trying to use2.2 but was not sure if it looked to cartoony lol. I use the duel stage from proline foams. I also vent my tires. Have been using the pit bull rock beast xl 1.9 tires. Might try the 2.2 version but super swamper and hyrax are nice.
@@kevinhill2929 thanks man! Yeah I was unsure about trying the 2.2”. Seems like almost everyone else is doing that or getting cut n shuts for 2.2” wheels. That keeps the tire width down as mine are obviously more wide being a true 2.2”. I need better insert options for these tires. My other wheels and tires I use on the optic are deep dish offset Injora wheels with Jconcepts ruptures with exocagedrc rupture soft inserts. That setup is awesome. I’m gonna do a video on testing the two tire setups.
@@MidwestRCcrawler west desert wheeler sales cutnshut. Was thinking of getting the proline krawler g8 from him. I tried to do that a long time ago and is hard to match it up so I can’t see the glue and seem. Used the old rc tire to plastic wheel glue. The cutnshut look good on the 2.2 wheels. He uses them on his Capra. For your inserts look at proline or crawler innovations.
I'm running these with Injora blue inserts. They do pretty well and I expect the tires to soften up a little more with more use. Although I melted the stock front servo with them. Now running NSDRC RS800 v2
@ I just got the Injora greens in the 2.2” for the super swampers. They do fit and I should definitely see some more conforming of the tires with these. Thanks for suggesting these! Hopefully the weather will stop being so crappy out so I can go run them and get some film of them in action.
I have the 1.9 proline boggers and had to put some 12mm spacers on my optic for the tire to not rub so much. Are you using an offset with these to prevent this?
@@tvon4966 I haven’t tried modifying my stock foams on these tires. I have on 1.9 before. Right now, and I haven’t ran it yet, but I’ve got 2.2” carbon fiber wheels and 2.2”x5.25” Jconcepts the hold on right now with some printed inserts. Can’t wait to test them out.

That Vanquish Looks Sick. And Super FUn :) Great Video

@ yeah I’ve looked into his tires. Those are the ones I would have gone with myself. I have a set of the Krawlers for my cj7 and love them.
@@MidwestRCcrawler he does sale others tire now as well as the krawlers. But I really like the scale tires myself and those preform well.

@@postalacidity you’re running Injora blue silicon insets in these tires? I didn’t know they made them to fit these sized tires.
@@MidwestRCcrawler I have the 5.25 version, that I got for the Tusks I was running. They seem to work well in these as well.
@ hmmm, I might have to check into those. I think I’m getting some custom ones made for these tires, so we will see.

Also ever try modding your stock foams?
@@tvon4966 I actually have the end points set to max, 120%. I do run offset wheels, so maybe that helps.
