This should be used in consideration with the cheek guns. Have the bombardier on one, and in dire situations put the navigator on the other. Once again, they are not far from their stations so can move back fast. For secondary skills when following this tactic, gunners for Nav, Bomb and Engineer, have someone in the waist as a medic. Leaving the doors open is completely safe, unless the enemy is using 40mm API (which they aren’t) it’s very unlikely they will detonate the bombs as they don’t arm until dropped.
@Classical Cat I dont belive that the game is using any real models for anything since all the large ships only seem to have 2 main turrets. So i think the game is using a generic model for them. And its still calling them battleships. ;)

The twin engine Messerschmitt are Bf 110. They were designed to be a fighter with a bigger punch than the great Bf 109, It wasn't the best at dogfighting compared to the Bf 109. But it found its niche as a night fighter/ bomber interceptor due to its heavier armament than the Bf 109. The prongs on the front of the plane are for the radar which makes me to believe that the Germans are sending night fighting Bf 110 at you. I also think that latter night fighting Bf 110s were equipped with radar guided missiles or normal rockets.
after a huge break of playing bomber crew i tough i'm experienced enough to to high risk mission and yeah i'm glad that i cloud do emergency landing because two of my crew was dead and i forgot that one of them was standing on the wing because he was repairing engine lol
My best tip is to put the engineer in the top turret and remove him wenn you need to repair while getting higher to Med alt and wenn repair done go to low alt
I got to tor the B17 bommer called the aluminum overcast. Also met one of the veterans that flow on it. It had 12 guns and had bombs in it that were defused.

Baron the twin engines are Messerschmitt 110s. The ironic thing is that the Germans used them mainly for bomber escort, not bomber-hunters.
