I understand in real life there were a hell of a lot more Americans, french/Canadian and English forces landing that day. But when you have about 20 men packed together on a small plywood and pot mettle boat with 25 rounds a second coming out of an MG that one round has the capability of going through 5 men it really just drops your jaw and makes you wonder how in the hell.
I think the Italian front would be more interesting, Italians are really unrepresented in these games imo. Then again you can't have North Africa battles without Italians so that'd be fine too
this map is a logi wet dream for the Germans. Little risk of getting killed in rear, lots of emplacements and posotions to setup a wealth of ammo/mg nests, ability to make defensive fobs(!!!)....so great.
Ach man, ich liebe es! Gerne mehr von dem Sachsen, da macht das Zuhören extra Spaß. Vielleicht könnt ihr nochmal ein Event machen, wo noch mehr auf Realismus geachtet wird, jeder in seiner Rolle bleibt. Ansonsten super Video!

They kind of went overboard with them in game. In reality they were a bit more spread out and in lines, not just randomly placed. Here’s a link to official military maps of Omaha (not Utah but the obstacles were about the same throughout) and you can see that they were in lines: maps.lib.utexas.edu/maps/historical/omaha_beach_west_f4_1944.jpg
The Germans issued out whatever they had, and many of the units in Normandy were 2nd line units. There are photos of Maxim 08 guns set up on the beaches, for example.

Can we get an event with all American players on the American team and on the German side like half German players, 1/4 Czech and 1/4 Russian players. Also the Czech and Russian players just team kill the whole time.
This is the normal way to speak.. all this over agressive screaming is to let german sound even more ugly and harsh as normal to english/ american ears.

Only the Infantry divisions guarding the beach had no trucks to move around and mostly used captured weapons.
