Either you die in purgatory and respawn in purgatory, or you die in purgatory and then you cease to exist. The second part wouldn’t make much sense to me because I assume leviathan have died in purgatory lots of times, and there’s no way for them to procreate unless they’re able to give birth to new ones. It could be that leviathans respawn in purgatory while other monsters cease to exist after they die in purgatory. Maybe after the leviathan blossom is fully grown, the leviathan re-emerges from the blossom. I think what likely happens is they respawn in purgatory after some time, a delayed respawn. This is why it seems so easy to kill Leviathans in purgatory, but so hard to kill them on Earth. What happens with other monsters? I don’t know. They have a solid means of replication on Earth. They wouldn’t need respawn in purgatory.

But I have also been to the "void" too irl. they say when you are under for surgery if they hooked up a eeg to you your brain would show nothing...what if that is because you are technically dead but not dead as your heart still beats so you only reside in the dreamless peace of the void until they wake you up. It was nice btw...no pain, no anxiety, no worries...just...thoughtless peace. If that is what death is like then death doesn't seem so scary now :)
Regarding the Garden: I always thought that the garden of Eden story paints God in a pretty bad light, and the characterization of the snake as a deceiver always confused me. In the actual story, God is the one who deceives; he tells Adam and Eve that the fruit of knowledge will kill them. The snake, on the other hand, offers truth: that God lied to them and that eating the fruit will give them knowledge of good and evil. Eve listens, finds out that God lied, convinces Adam. Then God finds out and throws one of his classic hissy-fits. He curses the Snake to slither on its belly, invents periods and throws Adam and Eve out of the Garden. Now this might be far fetched, but by presenting the Snake as a separate entity to Lucifer and as a character that helps our protagonists, maybe the showrunners align with the interpretation of Genesis that I just offered.
Might I make a counter-theory? See before the fall of mankind, Adam and Eve were immortal (hence why Eve was alive until the Winchesters killed her in season 6 and Adam still lived on and was seen in season 15) humans. But every generation after them was mortal because of their disobedience. Now for the show your interpretation might make sense but in reality it was heavily implied in the Bible that Adam and Eve were either immortal or that their rebellion condemned their souls to Hell when they died, hence why Damnation to Hell is usually referred to as the Second Death in most biblical references. You could even use this and say that after can killed Abel and Eve gave birth to Seth, Eve became angry and vengeful and that's why she started creating monsters using magic to curse humans or something until either Adam or someone else locked her away in Purgatory, and because of the amount of time she spent there, surrounded by the Leviathans, she became less than human and more monster.
The Tahiti reference got me😂😂 Also, if i remember correctly I do believe Oz was meant to be a place inside of Avalon. The portal thing doesn't really make a difference since the portal Michael made to purgatory looks the same as the ones to Apocalypse World, i do believe the lovecraftian place was meant to be a different universe. As fot deaths reading room, I always just believed it to be a deeper portion of the Veil
I'm pretty sure its what the monsters had on when they died and when they did the clothes they had is just how they saw themselves last and used that as a look for themselves making the clothes basically their soul as well. Though that does make it a bit weird since that means they were all naked the entire then.
6:30 I always thought that all angels provide power regardless of whether or not they’re physically present, it’s just that the ones *in* heaven provide more, but I could be wrong
honestly i always thought heaven was exactly like what was depicted how it was before it was changed. Except you can let anybody in and you can make anything happen.
LOL "Ill give you a multiverse video eventually." Oh youll give it to us??? How generous our lord is! Youre such a kind generous and caring overlord arent you? Gifting us with these very useful and intelligent videos! Thank you so much for "Giving" us these videos.
Obviously theres more way to enter Hell than Heaven because who would want to but I'm pretty sure when Crowley (and after Rowena) took over Hell became safer than ever before
I don't think when Cas and Crowley were talking next to Dean that they just "popped into the veil" for a minute. I think that's a normal way for them to be. Remember that Cas could see all the Reapers in Chicago when Death was arriving, and he was in the veil when he was eavesdropping on Bobby and the boys trying to hunt down Crowley. I believe they can choose to be there at any time - they just can't interact with the physical plane if they are.
I would have to assume that when monsters are killed a second time, they probably just reform in some random place within Purgatory after a time. Sure, there’s still a corpse, but it’ll decay eventually, resulting in an eternal cycle that confuses to feed the forest. Hell that might be what keeps Purgatory running in the first place, being constantly fed blood and flesh from the creatures inhabiting the realm.
I couldn't tell you exactly what episode(s) mentioned what I'm about to say about monsters and purgatory because I finished SPN many moons ago lol, but from what I remember, monsters, because they are just corrupted human souls, go straight to Purgatory when they die. There, they just exist and are really just locked in a dimension scaped battle royale, killing and feeding off each other until they die there. Because they're still monsters there, when they die in purgatory, the essence of monster that made them a corrupted soul dissapates, freeing they're now regular human soul to go to Heaven or Hell based on how they lived their lives on earth before they were corrupted. The only beings that are tethered there permanently no matter how many times they die, are the Leviathan, since that was designed to be their legit original final resting place. And because that is their home, they're the monsters at the top of the food chain there, and usually are the ones that kill and feed off the lesser monsters/corrupted humans
Oz and the fairy world are not necessarily dimensions in the main universe too but alternate universes. After all, there is not only one way to travel, as Castiel did when he sent the brothers to that non-magical universe where they were actors.
Deans vampire friend Roy did say something along the lines of “it was hard feeling the first again after all that time not feeling it in purgatory” so I’d assume there’s no hunger? Idk though been awhile since I’ve watch season 8
Deaths library is the same as our Acashic Records that is in our spiritual plane … The person that created Supernatural must have been awakened to have recreated a lot of the dimensions so accurately…
For some reason I remember a statement about monsters respawning after they die in purgatory. That's what I've always thought. Like even if they die in purgatory it doesn't matter. They don't go anywhere and are stuck there for eternity
On the subject of Purgatory do the Pagan gods end up in there or in the Empty? I know they aren't children of eve but it has been implied ALL monsters end up there. For that matter could the Pagan Gods pursued monsters to pray to them to boost their power? I could see Zeus forming a sort of prison gang where they demand prayers in exchange for protection
Hell : for corrupting tortuted soul and making into demons Heaven: for souls who has done good things and housed for angels Pugartory: monster's soul and a battel field for the stronger ones The veil: for souls who will wait for the reapers Fairy realm: for any fairy creatures The empty: every demons and angels who died and retry their deep regrets Death's library: every books how you died
Wait what? 7:36 "Any soul that has ever been to hell can never enter paradise. The only way around this is for god to personally give you a pass." Didn't the Winchesters get Bobby's soul from Hell, through Purgatory and (with some help from Naomi) into Heaven?
16:00 I know you don’t touch your old the magician’s channel anymore sadly but maybe hopefully you pick that channel up one last time? I mean you helped me understand that series a lot more & Penny deserved better!
To me theres 2 types of dimensions within the supernatural world, universal dimensions as in every universe has them or a version of them and multiversal as in theres 1, for example every universe has their afterlifes hell heaven and purgatory as well as temporal dimensions for example that weird dimension in that one episode where dean and past Bobby were once caught in or wherever the trickster aka gabriel had sam and dean during the tv episode or wherever he put sam and dean in the groundhog day episode But multiversal dimensions are singular, for example the empty or wherever amara was trapped in, as well as death’s library cuz death is in my personal idea a multiversal entity, otherwise why was chucks death book in it if hes a singular being
There are some problems with the "human bodies cannot enter Heaven" thing. The show has been really inconsistent about it and while they do say this line, the practical evidence seems to contradict it. For one, we see multiple angels go through the portal in their vessel, and the vessel isn't dropped outside or destroyed (because they have it again when they come out), which begs the question, if the vessel can't enter Heaven but we don't see it left behind, where did it go? Secondly, you show a clip in your video where Jack brought a few humans up to Heaven and sure, he made them into angels, but they were able to stay there before he converted them, with no harm being done to them. I think the easiest interpretation of this discrepancy is that the angels were going to deliberately annihilate Kelly's (and Jack's) body as a part of their plan, and in most cases it isn't true. I generally tend to side with practical evidence over what someone has said, because they could be wrong or lying, but actual events show what really happens. (Of course, it's fiction and this is really a writing inconsistency, but we all gotta cope with it somehow)
Ive always been under the impression that when monsters die in purgatory they go on to the empty, as opposed to respawning like some vimments have said. I cant recall if it was ever stated what happens to them in the show, so either theory could be correct. I guess it comes down to personal preference as to what happens to monsters after going to purgatory.
I like the idea that if you end in purgatory, you just respawn somewhere else. Then you have to map your way back to your body to get your loot. Lol But I still don’t know why the monsters are fighting when there is no real reason for them to.
wow i never thought about that michael can open with a snap of his fingers but ni raphael. thats crazy tbh. the diff must be hugh between them. or maybe he needed the spell to suck up the souls or something
I know you said you would do a separate video for the multiverse I do think it's important to say some if not most of these other dimensions were made for thier universe and an equal representation probably exists in most of the universes throughout the multiverse. Like all created universes probably have a version of heaven and he'll. We can't know what these dimensions are like in that verse but knowing Chuck and seeing that multiverse earth's are the same with different time lines it's safe to say these dimensions exist in the same or near same way in those verse as they do in the prime verse.
I don’t think god has control over the empty but he can reach into it. He revived angels before and after the empty was introduced so that’s confirmed. We know for a fact the empty was asleep before cas woke up and that he had always been asleep even during cas’s previous resurrection. I think the reason the empty believed god didn’t have the ability to reach into the empty is because god just snatched things out of dimension instead of waking them up to wander around and set off alarms first like jack or nick. If the people god revives don’t have time to wake up the empty than as far as it knows they never left and god never reached in. If Someone more articulate could explain that better it would be great.
Remember how Death said he and God don't remember who came first anymore. Headcannon is death was a twin of the Shadow from the empty. But unlike that being he was fascinated by Chuck and made a deal with him to be taken away from the nothingness in exchange potentially letting chuck use the dimension as a dumping ground for the first draft of angels maybe and later demons or otherwise things chuck couldn't get rid of

I love that tower reference you slipped in there
AGENTS OF SHIELD REFERENCE AT 29:14
Speaking of Heaven, what would your personal Heaven look like?
I'm gonna be Honestly I'm getting my ass Isekaied
@@darkdragonsoul99 literally what i want when i die just send me to some existing anime make me nice and OP and ill be happy, either that or put me in a place where i can play my Xbox and chill watching movies.
The empty
My late teens and early 20s in Okinawa where I was whoring around and partying, and some memories of being on leave back home during that time
a forest with a cozy cabin in it where i live with all my floofs that have gone one ahead of me. and it changes seasons.
We stan all the Wicked song references 💚💗
9:17 appreciate you bub
This was an Incredible Masterpiece for The Dimension’s of Supernatural.
29:14. I loved Jackie Chan Adventures as a kid. ❤
Regarding the Garden:
I always thought that the garden of Eden story paints God in a pretty bad light, and the characterization of the snake as a deceiver always confused me.
29:14 yes i remember that show man!
The Tahiti reference got me😂😂
Also, if i remember correctly I do believe Oz was meant to be a place inside of Avalon.
The portal thing doesn't really make a difference since the portal Michael made to purgatory looks the same as the ones to Apocalypse World, i do believe the lovecraftian place was meant to be a different universe.
As fot deaths reading room, I always just believed it to be a deeper portion of the Veil
3:45 is this garden/eden the same one that jack visited in season 15 when he used the occultum? This always confused me.
Uploaded 15 mins ago? Hell yes! 🙏🏻
Thanks for reminding me again that i need to rewatch The Magicians... lol
Man I loved Jackie chan adventures! So many memories 😂
29:10 yes we remember ahh one more thing!! Memories
honestly i always thought heaven was exactly like what was depicted how it was before it was changed. Except you can let anybody in and you can make anything happen.
Also continue the rest of the types of monsters in supernatural as a part 2
I remember that animated Jackie Chan show
I was looking for that video on the other worlds you mentioned,,, before realising this is a recent video 😭
LOL "Ill give you a multiverse video eventually." Oh youll give it to us??? How generous our lord is! Youre such a kind generous and caring overlord arent you? Gifting us with these very useful and intelligent videos! Thank you so much for "Giving" us these videos.
Obviously theres more way to enter Hell than Heaven because who would want to but I'm pretty sure when Crowley (and after Rowena) took over Hell became safer than ever before
The monsters in purgatory definitely eat each other and probably respawn
Jackie Chan Adventures was so good!
29:21 I love that Jackie Chan show I still watch it
Deans vampire friend Roy did say something along the lines of “it was hard feeling the first again after all that time not feeling it in purgatory” so I’d assume there’s no hunger? Idk though been awhile since I’ve watch season 8
29:07 Colby2D has a few videos on it, actually. Plenty of late 20s to late 30s remember it.
Deaths library is the same as our Acashic Records that is in our spiritual plane … The person that created Supernatural must have been awakened to have recreated a lot of the dimensions so accurately…
That Jackie Chan show was dope when I was a kid lol
"Go then there are other watlds then this"
The dark tower
I've always wanted them to expand on the Fae realm more.
For some reason I remember a statement about monsters respawning after they die in purgatory. That's what I've always thought. Like even if they die in purgatory it doesn't matter. They don't go anywhere and are stuck there for eternity
Benny die there and he didn’t respawn. So the statement is probably false
Can you do a video of does magic work in supernatural and the many types of magic in supernatural
I thought they pursued humans to pray them?
@arbiter5519 yeah but there aren't any humans in Purgatory (and in the Empty you're asleep anyway)
Maybe Leviathans that die in Purgatory go to the Empty while the Leviathan blossom spawns 😂
Hell : for corrupting tortuted soul and making into demons
Heaven: for souls who has done good things and housed for angels
Pugartory: monster's soul and a battel field for the stronger ones
The veil: for souls who will wait for the reapers
Fairy realm: for any fairy creatures
The empty: every demons and angels who died and retry their deep regrets
Death's library: every books how you died
You forgot Oz or how to spell
The dimension where charlie went with dorothy
If you could bind a soul eater and figure out their dimension you’d have time travel or at least the ability to send information back in time.
would the Sheadim (pretty sure I spelled it wrong) vs the leviathan who would win? since they both so evil they got lock up.
Wait what? 7:36
"Any soul that has ever been to hell can never enter paradise. The only way around this is for god to personally give you a pass."
Didn't the Winchesters get Bobby's soul from Hell, through Purgatory and (with some help from Naomi) into Heaven?
Yeah and it was a personal pass from God, his soul wasn't supposed to go to hell in the first place
16:00 I know you don’t touch your old the magician’s channel anymore sadly but maybe hopefully you pick that channel up one last time? I mean you helped me understand that series a lot more & Penny deserved better!
To me theres 2 types of dimensions within the supernatural world, universal dimensions as in every universe has them or a version of them and multiversal as in theres 1, for example every universe has their afterlifes hell heaven and purgatory as well as temporal dimensions for example that weird dimension in that one episode where dean and past Bobby were once caught in or wherever the trickster aka gabriel had sam and dean during the tv episode or wherever he put sam and dean in the groundhog day episode
But multiversal dimensions are singular, for example the empty or wherever amara was trapped in, as well as death’s library cuz death is in my personal idea a multiversal entity, otherwise why was chucks death book in it if hes a singular being
I love the quote from Jake you used at the beginning of the video. A fellow traveler looking for the Dark Tower. Carry on, brother!
garden probably exists outside of time (why lucifer might have been there as a snake) but that doesnt explain why it was that moment he wound up in
Having been to Wyoming 2 hellgates makes perfect sense
There was the wood fairy that powered the man of letters bunker
It feels really weird watching this with my dad just passing away 11 days ago and he just got buried this past Monday... he should be in heaven.....
3:18 at least until Jack and Cass brought down the walls and allowed it to be a communal heaven
I need a channel like this for stargate please
I need someone to go throuth and catch all the refrences you made in this video xD
oh deep cut with the thaiti is a magical place XD
I LOVE THIS VIDEO!
If spirits are asked to move on, why would Dean reluctantly move on when he knows he’s going to hell at the end of season 3?
I like the idea that if you end in purgatory, you just respawn somewhere else. Then you have to map your way back to your body to get your loot. Lol
But I still don’t know why the monsters are fighting when there is no real reason for them to.
wow i never thought about that michael can open with a snap of his fingers but ni raphael. thats crazy tbh. the diff must be hugh between them. or maybe he needed the spell to suck up the souls or something
If Someone more articulate could explain that better it would be great.
hey could you make a video ranking all spn intros
When are you gonna get to the horsemen video?
