- This video shows a step-by-step process of recovery of a completely clogged Epson DX4 print head of a Mimaki JV3. Same print heads are used on Roland and Mutoh printers. Epson heads are extremely difficult to recover due to their sensitivity to pressure and chemistry of the fluids. Print Head Doctor is the only solution to effectively clean these print heads.
Many have told me that the head should not be immersed entirely in the ultrasound otherwise it will break, right? Or can I soak it all in?
The cost of the machine is $1500, plus you'll need an Epson DX4 adapter for $250 and a Reverse Flush cap for $150. The machine is now model 6 which is more advanced than the one you see on this video.

never try , is not true , just make board damage, the seals inside are very delicate not matter what carefully you do, the printhead look great after passed the cleaning solution but is brken inside and later damage your board 100%

A printhead is a bit more complicated device then a tap. Actually a print head should generate small droplets of the same size to print an image.Unfortunately the author of the video forgot to show the most interesting part of this process - printing. Probably just ran out of videocard memory.

The DX4 and DX5 Epson heads are awesome during printing, becouse of their very little nozzles. And becouse of their little nozzles they are so difficult to clean. I tryed many times, but the results were never satisfactory.

don't waste your money on this,,, you can do this by hand with a cpl of syringes
and some cleaning fluid,, I do it all the time..
please whats the name of cleaning fluid you use
