I got: English Lit: 9 English Lang: 9 Geography: 9 History: 9 RE: 9 Biology: 8 Physics: 7 Chemistry: 6 Maths: 6 Honestly the thing that made me happiest was the maths. Like, I struggle with maths so much and I always have, so I just gave up and didn't revise. I genuinely thought I'd have to retake it so I nearly cried when I saw that on my paper😂 well done on your results, they're absolutely amazing and you should be so proud of yourself x

how i got 3 9s like katie: - flashcards for every topic and subtopic, condensed notes from revision guide with red pen for key words - MAKE QUIZLETS FOR EQUATIONS IN PHYSICS AND some biology and chem equations - make MORE QUIZLETS for key concepts terms and definitions in all sciences, and once i understand something perfectly i will remove that term until i learn all - make a FINAL QUIZLET containing all the important last minute information and hard concepts that you struggle to remember and focus on memorising them, think about what you really know and what you keep forgetting. - practice paper set from aqa, work through questions, look at mark scheme, finish your answer in red from mark scheme and review that red topic later. - questions from cgp revision book + 8/9 booster pack - if u have 50 pounds to spend, MY GCSE SCIENCE includes videos on each topic in detail you need to know and exam questions for each video - FREESCIENCELESSONS is great at explaining tricky concepts in a simple manner which after a few rewatches you will have gained a strong understanding. This is what i did, you may not need to do everything like this but trust me these are good techniques. QUIZLET and FREESCIENCELESSONS are easy to use so i recommend those highly. for general notes i chose revision cards as they are easy but doing normal notes is fine. Tips for notes/posters/revision cards: - color code equations/key words in different colours each - use symbols like the upwards arrow to represent the word 'more' or 'increases' vice versa for 'less' or 'decreases'. other symbols are the three dots triangle for therefore. draw a direct arrow to next word to represent word 'this leads to' or 'this causes' etc. - diagrams only when necessary (most of my diagrams were simple apart from in biology) - make it look 'not boring' and keep it CONDENSED to only NECESSARY INFORMATION. much more i could say but this is a breakdown of science revision pretty much 100 percent GOOD LUCK

@@LifestyleofKatie depends. If you want a competitive uni application having strong gcses is important. Some courses such as medicine require a high majority of 7s at least. But most of the time they are rarely looked at or only a couple of subjects grades are checked to see if they are at a 6 for example. Depends on uni and course
I got five 9’s, two 8’s, one 7 and one 6. Was kinda annoyed with the 6 which was German but I’m not that great at German so i don’t really care about it that much. Got a 8 in maths, 9 in both English lit and Lang, 9 in both double science and 9 in RE. 8 in geography, 7 in IT and 6 in german

science 9 boundaries for the gcse were the same as the 7/8 boundaries in the mocks (well my mocks at least), still its a very nice set to have.
