    Thank you for the clarification of both pans. I am curious what brand your other stainless steel pans are (the ones with copper inside)? I recently started a search for new pans and of course All-Clad was everyone’s recommendation. I saw the ninja pans at Sam’s Club and decided to add them to my comparison list.

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  Год назад

      The ones with the copper I have are Kirkland stainless.. I like them a lot, but they are out of production now. Ninja does have a line of all stainless pans they just released that are oven safe to 600 degrees. I was thinking about getting a set to put on here. They styled those directly from the All Clad pans. If they are any good, they can be a great choice given the price for sure.

    So if you didn't already have stainless pans, would you go with the neverstick premium?

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  Год назад +6

      Me personally, Yeah I would have... I just really like how they look. I would have ended up getting those and just buying additional pans to fill in the size gaps.

      @@JoesPhenomenal Hi Joe!!! So you're saying don't buy the stainless vs Premium? Can get a good deal on both so not too worried about the price. Love the look of the stainless those vs a cast iron looking pan. Thanks!!!

      @@richberner3360 Heya, Rich. I actually kept the stainless finished ones. I like them better. The performance is the same pretty much, but they match all my stainless gear better. The set being smaller was no biggie for me, because I have tons of large full-stainless pans anyways. SInce I got these, I've mostly used them instead of the heavy full- stainless stuff just because they're so easy to clean. So I like the stainless over the premium since I hang them and they look better on the pot rack. LOL

    Don't forget to mention the PTFE that Ninja uses on their never stick pans while claiming to be free of chemicals! Stainless steel or cast iron is the way to go!

      Definitely. Excellent Point. Used properly, Stainless is pretty non-stick anyways.

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  Год назад

      Most pans these days are made to be induction compatible, so you have plenty to choose from! These Ninja Neversticks are still holding up pretty well for me. I've seen some complaints, but I haven't experienced any of that stuff myself.

  • @dizziechef9502
    @dizziechef9502 Год назад +1

    I finally learned to cook with stainless. I guess it has to be warmed up and oil added then things won’t stick in it. I’m not sure . I don’t have stainless steel. I cook with iron skillets and pans. But they are heavy. They will stick also if not washed properly. Soap is an enemy of iron skillets.

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  Год назад

      Yeah...with the cast iron, you want to avoid the soap. You need that oily seasoning layer for them to work their best. With the stainless, you just make sure you have a little fat in the pan and don't add your proteins until it's hot. Be sure to let a crust form before you flip the meat, and you shouldn't have any issues with sticking.

      @@JoesPhenomenal Thanks , I’ve been wanting to change from my iron so if your method works I’ll get a whole set. First I’ll try a small skillet and see if I can master the No stick with stainless. A question = does stainless work on those counter cook tops. The magnetic 🧲 kind ? Are they called induction ?

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  Год назад

      The counter cook tops are made 2 wayz. There is radiant ones and induction ones. The radiant ones just get hot like an old style electric stove. The induction ones use magnetism. Most stainless pans work on the induction stuff no problem.... The easiest way to see if a pan will work on induction is to just take a refrigerator magnet and try to stick it to the bottom of the pan. If it sticks, the pan will work on the cook top.

      I've been pressry impressed with the ninja ones so far. Nothing much to complain about, but I haven't had them long enough to really form a solid opinion about durability just yet. The hex clads look fantastic. Can't wait to review those. One thing about them is that they aren't nonstick pans... I've seen a bunch of reviewers mess with them about that, but they aren't even marketed that way... Just less sticky than stainless.
