Two things:
1. A love confession from both sides, being Crowley the first one to do it in a critical moment.
2. Both of them living together, before the eyes of humans, dmeons and angels as just two roomies, but intimately as lovers.
Michael's *"To the world"* is one of the most incredible line deliveries I've ever heard..

Absolutely! Three little words, so full of feeling and nuance. I could watch this scene over and over in a loop.
It almost has me in tears every time, there's just such warmth to it.
I always go back to this video for that single line alone. The little change in his expression is just the cherry on top. He looks so soft and at home, and his voice was so warm and full of love. Absolutely incredible 💕

Saaame. The chemistry between these two is just overwhelming. I don't care what anyone tells me, they are a couple, the only reason that their never explicitly said to be a couple in the show is because it's so obvious it goes without saying. Look at the way they look at each over, their,'s romantic music in the background, and just listen to the lyrics right at the end!!!!!

I love David and Michael's voices when they're talking just before switching back. They capture each others' tone of voice and phrasing really well. Very nice script work and some great acting on both their parts.

The book was awesome, but these two actors really brought the characters to life and showed all the love between them.
True. It’s been a while since I’ve read the book, but I don’t remember the romantic subtext being so obvious. Now that I’ve seen the series, which uses a lot of the same dialogue from the book, I’m wondering how I missed it!

I can't believe anyone looked at this final scene and still thought that Aziraphale and Crowley's feelings for each other are platonic. JUST LOOK AT THE WAY AZIRAPHALE LOOKS AT HIM IN THAT LAST SCENE! That is a look that says "I am hopelessly in love with the person sitting next to me!"

From the beginning they have so much chemistry, you could tell (or I was very impressed (Aziraphale) nooo you were Nnnot (Crowley). Then staged came out between GO1&2, and their again the bromance 👯♂️ was on. Aziraphale and Crowley characters did seem more like 🥰 or 👯♂️?

@@Justine.4llThe song at the end of season 1 (on this scene in particular) is about ninhtingales singing while two angels falling in love at the Ritz. In fact, at the end of the series in the last few frames we can see a nightingale singing.
So, when Crowley says no nightingales, he's refering to the lack of love between them on that scene.

So is it bad for Aziraphale to accept Crowly's nice temptation for lunch or is it bad for Crowly to tempt Aziraphale with lunch to which he nicely accepts?
I think this is yet another reinforcement of both of them not being exactly well-suited to the side they were ostensibly on. Crowley "tempts" Aziraphale into something completely harmless, and Aziraphale uses his powers to get them a table at the Ritz, which isn't exactly a proper use of angelic power.
Can hardly wait for the season two. What a perfectly cast series. And they stayed remarkably close to the book story too.
And people still have the guts to say that's queerbating
The way i imagine their dynamic if they were in a romantic relationship is this - Aziraphale being utterly "smitten", Crowley still telling him to shut up while maintaining his protective instinct over him, the both of them having romantic dinners together - basically this scene, just add Crowley furiously making out with Angel afterwards 😘
