There’s a mobile mechanic he calls himself O’ riles Autos he’s based in England he’s got the bigger one of these ,it cost 6000 pounds he could do any diagnostics with it he mainly dose DPF s cleaning and problems the machine is very good if you can master it ,watch his videos thanks for your video mate I’m a fan 👍

How you check all the AC system
It only can scan engine,but can do all reset ,you need to buy another like JDiag M2 to do the full system scan, diagnostic and obd2 scan are two different thing,
How is this holding up, I have the new Actron one.
I brought that 2 weeks ago. $200 on amazon, and it is the truth. I have a 2002 q45 with a air bag light on and the box turned that off. The steps to turn it off from the factory did not work. As you may know, airbag light , failed inspection. Its because of a bad pretensioner, it works, when you pull on the seat belt it locks. I and going to put in a new abs pump and check to see if this box will bleed my installation. If it does that then it would not be any need for consult II which cost over $2000. If it fails I have a friend with the big snap-on reader and I know that will bleed the brakes. But the crp129X WAS WORTH EVERY PENNIE. Told me I needed abs sensors and all my lights went out. all I have left to finish the $800 car is to put the abs(vdc) pump on.
I've just purchased the Launch CRP129. Have problems with my 2008 Nissan Qashqai steering in that I changed the clockspring and now get the dashboard yellow lights for electronic stability control and ESP so I believe the steering needs recalibration. Does this tool recalibrate or just reset the steering angle sensor, anyone know?

Yes it can do that function for electronic handbrake.
I got this tool so I could bleed my abs... I have the cr129x whatever it’s called.... it does none of these special features unless you click the little mall icon and pay 20 bucks for each of said function... and theirs 10 of them! So for 250 or whatever I paid and add another 200 for the features.... just crazy!
That’s why bi directional scanners are so expensive.

How many bars are showing on your wifi band on the top right hand corner. I use mine off wifi and when im out on breakdown I use mobile data. Works good.

Hi, I have a crp129e that does not recognize vin automatically, and I tried it in a group of cars with the same problem. Is there a solution? Thank you.

Some vin numbers have to be manually edited, I noticed mine only automatically reads vins for euro cars.

Yes providing it has obd2.
Do you know if it can do bidirectional controls like a Idle Relearn Procedure?
No,it is four system scanner.you can think about X431 V or V+ If you looking for a bidirectional scan tool.

Not that I know of. I remember the AA guy using a certain tool to verify odometer reading.

Price and functionality is different. The 129X is more functional.
Hi thanks for sharing this video, One question. Can you reset your kilometers? I bought a 2012 Mazda CX7 and I just found out the previous owner set the kilometers back, and I would like to reset them back to how they should be. Thanks again
No scan tool can reset mileage, they have gone behind the dashboard and done it manually. If it is a digital one then there are some auto electronic repair shops that can re set the correct mileage. Hope that helps.

Can you reset throttle body whit this scanner and if so can you make a video and show us how?
Throttle body on what?
If the vehicle has the function then you an reset the throttle body. Some modern cars do an automatic re learn just by driving the vehicle.
Why don’t you mention about the update the future you cannot use all the future for it and you have to pay more for it

@@THEMOWERMEDIC1 It allows you to turn things on and off from the screen, like a blower motor or relay, valves, very useful for diagnosing problems.
The Snap on Solus Pro is a Bi- directional Scanner. I won't purchase a Scanner that is not Bi- directional.
They cost more- but are a necessity.
