    Awesome video, used a bit of ingenuity and made mine for a single rod as I only use one rod for carp since I’m not that big time into it, but also left the base part roughly 32” since I don’t use a go pro either. Still an awesome tutorial and gave me a good baseline for what to do.

    The legs need spikes to hold the pod from getting pulled in on a strick buddy, other from that it looks good to fish with, or maybe put a nail through the feet sections so that they stick in the ground, awesome build tho buddy 🇬🇧✊🏼

      So far, it's worked just fine without staking into the ground but I'll keep that in mind, sir! This isn't thin walled plastic conduit, it's 3/4 inch, schedule 40 PVC. It actually ends up quite solid. We just like fun projects and a good DIY over here I guess 🤷🇺🇸.

    What keeps it from tipping over when you get fish on it

    • @spencerwalton5677
      @spencerwalton5677 3 года назад

      We use bait feeding reels so the line can strip off rather freely. The rods are placed horizontally and with the bait feeder engaged, there isn't much resistance for the fish to pull on until we pick it up.

      Here is a link to a bag that we ended up using - 2 Black X-Large 22.4"L x 18.1"W Drawstring Backpack Bag Gym Sports String Backpack Cinch Bag for Men Women a.co/d/8DJIwRo
      It is currently unavailable, but it does give you dimensions! Thanks for watching!

    BUT!! Not sure if you use them over there? Where do you put your bobbins/bite indications???

    • @UnorthodoxOutdoorsTV
      @UnorthodoxOutdoorsTV  2 года назад

      They are used over here. That being said, we have not used them, however, we may start to some degree, and they should go on there just the same as they do on bank sticks, etc.
