Just curious what you mean by it can take 'a certain kind of .38 special' at the ~2:17 mark? As far as I know you can shoot any .38 special out of it, even +p.

I think you "misspoke". That is a single action NOT a single shot. It actually holds six rounds.

Ruger single actions are great revolvers! Mine is a 1967 vintage .357, 6.5in barrel.
