this was the group of death all along with norway and the republic of ireland all 4 teams finished with 4 points and the goal difference was what decided who would move on and who would go home, Marcelino bernal's goal was awesome
For some reason Mexico's is one of my all time favorite goals in the WC even if it is technically that special. It is a fine shot but there have been better ones. It is the importance of taking Mexico to the top of difficult group and relegating Italy to the third place.

Italy made it harder for themselves with the loss to Ireland which they were expected to win. Italy made every match except the semi-final hardwork.
