Former British Army officer Hamish de Bretton-Gordon sheds light on the situation, highlighting the various pledges made by Kim Jong-un to enhance his military power.
One of the key developments mentioned in Kim Jong-un's speech is the plan to launch three new spy satellites to improve intelligence and surveillance capabilities. Additionally, he aims to bolster the production of nuclear material for the country's growing nuclear weapon program. The development of attack drones was also mentioned, along with the well-known existence of a large-scale chemical weapons program.

My wife is South Korean and I have met her grandmother a few times who is actually from the North. When the North attacked which was a complete shock to the South, she was down south and her family was up north. To this day, she never saw or heard from any of them again, no idea when or if they died.....
The North is full of such families and when push comes to shove and the Southern soldiers cross the line, they will rally against the communist regime. Why? Because they are starving, under valued, living with constant threat, and because they do not hate the South just like the South does not hate them.
