Athena is only in a couple seconds realistically of Sea of Monsters, so I might expect her and Annabeth's dad to be played by actors who just face off screen laughing or holding hands while (spoiler character for those who haven't read book 2) is the one turning around and beckoning to her. But Athena shows up a couple times significantly in Titan's Curse and so does Apollo, so it'll be fun to find out hopefully even quicker for coming seasons now that the first season renewal has been braved
