NEW Fast Sinking Dropper!!

  • This is a variation between a two-bit and a brassie; not really sure if it has a name yet. However, this is a little pattern I like to use to represent small midges or caddis pupae on my local blue line trout streams. As waters warm up, I start moving to fast-flowing, spring-fed runs higher in elevation. This little pattern makes for a perfect dropper that keeps the size small while sinking quite quickly in the water column. Pair it with a double nymph rig or use it with a hopper dropper setup, and it will be sure to catch you some fish. As always, there are no set colors. This is one I like, but don't let that stop you from mixing and matching to find what you like most. Good luck out on the water, everyone.

    Sorry if this is a dumb question but I know nothing about fishing. When you spent a lot of time making a hook its for multiple fish or do you have to make a new one each time?

    • @johntuttle9544

      Multiple fish.

      Most of the time, it's for multiple fish but depending on the durability of the pattern you make, it could last different amounts of time. This particular pattern is very durable because it uses a lot of resin and wire. Whereas a pattern that uses mostly feathers or animal hair won't last as long. Hope this helps! :)

    This might be a dumb question but first let me start by saying I love all your videos. I’m a subscriber. My question is, do fishies really pay attention to detail? Like they know exactly what type of bug you’re making? They got that good eyesight?

    • @pudgemedrano1692
      @pudgemedrano1692 День назад +1

      Personally I think it’s more of a silhouette. You’re making a bug that at least mimics the shape and size of what they’re eating lately and they may or may not be fooled by what you present. And there’s some patterns out that don’t look like anything but will catch fish too
