Thank you for the video I made something very similar with one exception I made the stand wider at the bottom meaning extending in back of the tablet and I cut pieces 3/4x 3/4 rounded to form a little well in back of the tablets to keep extra pens, pencils and stylist . Being larger also acts like a Outrigger more or less so in case your tablet is larger or heavier or you put too much pressure on it the tablet will not fall backwards. I hope I'm explaining myself. Take care
Thank You! I did not make that throat plate in the video, but I have made them before....Here is a link to where I buy mine -www.leecraftzeroclearance.com
@@TheMuzShop thanks for the link ! Got a quick question... if you use a 9/16" dado then when you go to put your backstop on, which is usually 3/4" , you have a little overhang and it doesn't fit square. Are you planning down a 3/4" ?
Thanks and thanks for watching. A friend had it made for me through his work, it was a gift. Not something I could order again. But there are a lot of branding irons out there....

I love this design! I wish you showed an alternative to using the dado stack on those 2 angle cuts. I don't have that. How else can I do it?

@@1dasok The backstop is the same thickness as the dado .....9/16 "
Can these cuts be made with a miter saw?
I'm sure it's possible or change the design a little so it's easier with a chop saw...
