17:17 That line he says “I know an old B named Della who hits harder than you” is a reference to his movie “Harlem Nights”, which yall definitely need to watch
This movie is so deep and emotional but hilarious. RIP to Bernie Mac, Heavy D, Rick James and a few others from this movie. Eddie and Martin are an amazing comedy duo. This is why I would never want to travel to Mississippi because of crap like that being accused of murder when you didn’t do it.
Fun fact: Martin’s toe actually did get stuck in the bottle and Eddie Murphy was genuinely laughing but they stayed in character and kept the scene going
Martin, Eddie, Bernie Mac, Guy Torrey, Miguel A. Nunez Jr, Anthony Anderson, prison was just full of black all stars! Life is such a dope movie and imo Martin Lawrence's best acting outside of the Bad Boys movies and Eddie was in his bag in this one. As always, a great reaction from yall!
Life is an underrated comdey masterpiece! Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence were comdey gold in this movie! Fun fact, Bernie Mac "I'm the Pappy!" line was improvised. He was so funny he had the whole crew laughing for real when they weren't supposed to laugh during that scene. But the director decided to keep the camera rolling! R.I.P. to the legendary Bernie Mac! I miss you brotha! 🙏🏾
During the part where Claude saw that black couple , it was him realizing how much times had passed. He was lookin at the boombox and goin “wtf??”. They only had record players when he was free.
'Boomerang' is the first movie Eddie and Martin did together. Eddie is the star and Martin and David Alan Grier from 'in living color' play his best friends. Halle Berry and Robin Givens costar in it too. Y'all gotta check that one out. Certified classic. Also, when Eddie said, "I know a bitch named Della that hit harder than you." It's a nod to his fight scene in 'Harlem Nights' with Della Reese. Another classic. Eddie Murphy don't get the credit he deserves for all the comedians/ actors he helped out and put on while he was on top. Real legend.
They were in Boomerang together which was 1992 film but Eddie was the star and Martin was the co-star. This is the only one where they both stared as leading actor. But definitely enjoyed ya'll reaction. Thank You! ...Also, you should react to Boomerang if you haven't already, definitely a cult classic.
One of my favorite movies of all time! The part where Ray tricked Claude in on the escape with a fake map, if I was Claude I would choke the life out of Ray right there 😂 You should see "Nothing to Lose" with Martin Lawrence and Tim Robbins, another classic!
For me, the premise of the movie is so sad and tragic, that any and all jokes in it are immediately dampened by the premise. Imagine losing your entire life unjustly.
What I love about you guys (besides hearing a young perspective on these older movies) is you don't just react to the same tired, recycled movies all these other channels react to. It's refreshing. Maybe you could do A Perfect Getaway. It's a great thriller, big cast with some twists that would be awesome to see you guys reacting to. In any case, love what your doing, keep it up. 👍😎❤️
This was a great reaction. If you guys want to see another cast like this (including Martin and Eddie together) then you should check out Boomerang. It is a certified classic and one of the best romantic comedies ever made. It’s Eddie Murphy at his best.
Check out the movies Money Talks(1997), National Security(2003), All About the Benjamins(2002), American Me(1992), Belly(1998), Malibu’s Most Wanted(2003), New Jack City(1991), Friday After Next(2002), Big Momma’s House(2000), and Harlem Nights(1989).
It's so insane that Claude and Ray were framed by the sheriff who actually killed him and given life in prison. The early scenes move well (although why was it necessary to send all the way to Mississippi for moonshine, when New York was awash in bootleg booze during Prohibition?).
We finally dropped it lol. Glad we could help you after a long day! Thanks for tuning in and it means a lot to us that our video could do that for you. Hope you enjoy watching with us. Have a blessed night
yall need to watch Brooklyn's Finest(2009) with the whiteguy(Ethan Hawke)who was from training day. He basically plays the opposite role he did in training day but still a cop
If yall are really interested in the history behind interracial marriage, the movie LOVING is really good & underrated. It’s about the couple who changed laws in America.
Man, I love that ya'll love each other --- especially with ya'll being so young. I ain't lying, if ya'll break up, I am pullin up on ya'll. Keep loving each other and being good to each other --- it's ghetto af out in the streets.
This was a good reaction...no disrespect bj but Amanda was smiling damn near the entire movie and that made the reaction that much greater! Thank you both!
I love y’all so much life is one of the best movies ever made yall gotta watch the nutty professor movies next this movie was star studded I swear but sadly most of them are gone in real life but this movie was fcking amazing!!! And the first movie Eddie and martin did was called boomerang in 1992 with David Alan Grier and Halle berry and robin givens and Chris rock and eartha kitt and John Witherspoon it’s a lot of ppl yall gotta react to that too
When he said, "I know a b*tch named Della that hit harder than you ", he was talking about Della Reese, from the movie Harlem Nights. 17:14

The reunion of Rick James and Eddie Murphy❤️
It took me 20 damn years to realize Rick James was Spanky! 😂
They should have had them singing party all the time in the outtakes at the end 😂

Can’t Get Right had the greatest prison stay in history!

Check out Vampire In Brooklyn (1995) casting Eddie Murphy and Angela Bassett, it's a perfect movie for October.
Yeppppppppppp
Why tf have I never noticed/caught Eddie's "I know an old bitch named Della that hits harder than you" line. That was a bar and a double at that.
Also this woman ain’t got the recipe to no negro pie
Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence are both in the 1992 film "Boomerang" (They play Bestfriends in that as well).
They are in Boomerang together, and that movie is 🔥 as well

Oh, and Coming To America too.
It's so insane that Claude and Ray were framed by the sheriff who actually killed him and given life in prison. The early scenes move well (although why was it necessary to send all the way to Mississippi for moonshine, when New York was awash in bootleg booze during Prohibition?).
