About time!
Yep, definitely was a little delayed getting it done
Looking good. On the internet cable, such a surprise that commenters on RUclips are wrong!
Thanks! I know right
How tall are your 4x4 or 6x6 above the ground on your swing
about 8ft. above ground, I used 10 ft. 6x6
very interesting update!
Thanks!
is this the final follow up video? Also any changes you would make knowing what you know now?
Yes it’s my final one right now. I would like to do a two year follow up also. I don’t know that the airflow tube would be necessary. The cap in the middle of the fire pit is getting weathered down. A decorative firepit cover would help with that. If you want the most radiant heat I would take away the brick and just have a metal ring. The retaining wall blocks definitely block a lot of the heat. If you have a low fire.
Is the vent used for both a water drain and an air vent?
Just for an air vent to help the fire breath
@@TheFixFinder ....Thanks for responding. Does water get in it from the drain that is outside the pit? Did I hear you correctly when you said you drilled holes in the vent to drain the water?
Just a heads up concrete will explode when heated and launch the contents of the pit into the air. I know because it happened to my fire pit. Not a good seen when people are sitting around the fire.
I had some rocks do that too. I guess I will see what happens
What are you supposed to use to build the pit then?
You can build the sides out of concrete worst case it will split but you can't put concrete on the bottom. Just fill the bottom with small gravel up to the steel ring. @@tgatt5759
I’m sorry to hear that you still have an internet, because that’s shit what are you doing
god please learn some masonry. Coulda saved you so much money.
That’s one thing my previous jobs didn’t have for me to learn about
Bruh what about your internet cable? If that goes out how will the internet tell you its smarter than you? WEEEEELLL I guess theirs cellular data... Continue.
