1.Logan. Truly believe he was the best guy for Rory (they balanced each other out) and I loves his character
2. Richard. In the early seasons he took on a father figure roll for Rory and was someone Rory could bond with over stuff she can't with her mom.
3. Michelle. He is me in every customer service interaction and the reason why I love Chow Chows so much
4. Kirk/Nick. Did they ever address the fact in his first scene they called the character Nick?
Invisible 5 is Jess. He grew up so much and I'm excited to see his character development in the 4-parter
My dad watched this show with me when I was younger lol. I actually was convinced for a long time that he grew to like the show but now I think he is just a good dad lol. I asked him about it recently and he just laughed and hugged me. Lol I feel bad for making him sit through it haha.
(Btw I do have a mom and sisters but my mom doesn't have the attention span for this kind of show and my sisters weren't into it)

The end of season 4 is bittersweet. Wonderful for Lorelai, rough for Rory, even rougher for the fans. I feel ya.
You MUST finish all seasons before the new Netflix series airs! If I can watch an entire season in one weekend, you can do this.
We're all rooting for you, and I think I speak for a lot of people when I say we would LOVE to see more segments about Gilmore Girls.

Yeah, that really bothered me when he got that wrong. It was really clear that she called Dean and Lindsay answered which made Rory even more down.

i first watched Gilmore Girls during the 3rd season and i was hardcore team jess and then i rewatched it for the 2nd time and i just didn't love them together as much. #TeamLogan
Ari I think I sort of get what you mean, the second time I watched it I did like the way Rory and Logan were when they were together. They matched up a lot, and they had some fun back and forth banter. But near the tale end of they relationship/series, he still didn't seem like a good influence on her anymore. Like he started out being the one who got her to take risks and live life to the fullest, but then as their relationship progressed the whole drinking a lot and trying to give her an ultimatum at the end...idek. I'm still leaning more towards Jess, because they really clicked back when they dated...he was just filled with a lot of teenage angst and that was more the downfall of their relationship. And you could see once he got older, he'd matured a lot. #TeamJess but I be mad if it ends up #TeamLogan 😂 (Sorry it's long 😭)

Sames! He was the only one that let Rory be Rory. Dean smothered her and Jess constantly abandoned her. Jess became a better man, but I think maybe they've outgrown each other. Yes, Logan was bratty sometimes, he was a product of his environment, but he was also the first one to straight up tell her he wanted to be with her and only her. He was the one willing to change. That made me adore him. What pisses me off is the people that blame Logan for Rory's behavior, like the getting arrested etc. Excuse me, Rory is a grown woman with her own mind. She makes her own choices. Step off! Hahaha.
What are you talking about? Logan was a major reason why Rory was so messed up during college. He made her into a different person, which she eventually realized. Besides, their lives are completely different, and it would have never worked out. I agree with you on Dean. The guy was cute, but man was he annoying. But he told her so many times he loved her and wanted to be with her for the rest of his life. The guy cheated on his wife for her. And also I don't think Rory wanted to be the housewife type of woman Dean wanted for a wife. Jess I think was the best because they both understood each other. They both has interests in the same things. He loved her but just like Luke, he's not so verbal about it. He grew up badly which is why he wasn't the best communicative boyfriend. And he left her because he knew he would just drag her. She was going to Yale, and he didn't even finish highschool. As he got older, you could see he was a more stable guy, and he was also the one who pointed out to Rory the people she was hanging out with (Logan) was not who she was. I don't want to give spoliers but when you watch the new episodes, I think you will see his love for her more.
He didn't make her into a different person. Rory did that all on her own. And their lives at surface level may be different, but if the revival proved anything, they're emotionally very similar. Was Logan perfect? No. Did he love Rory? Absolutely. Still does. And she clearly loves him too. He would move heaven and earth for her. The Life and Death Brigade scene only cemented that for me. The fact that they keep going back means it's deeper than casual hookups. Rory makes her own choices and to blame them on Logan isn't fair. It's the old saying 'if everyone jumped off a bridge', it undermines Rory as a character and I like that she makes her own decisions. And people change. To say hanging out with Logan isn't who she is, well neither was sleeping with Dean or even dating Jess to begin with. Everyone puts her on this pedestal and the truth is she's human and humans grow and evolve. Rory chose to cheat with Logan. He didn't force her. Jess may love her, he may not. That look can be interpreted many different ways. I'd like to think he's moved on and looks at her with fond memories. I think Jess actually deserves better. And the Dean scene was beautiful. And I'm not saying Rory has to end up with Logan, but they very clearly love each other and I think deserve a real shot. Whether it works out is a different story.
I totally understand your perspective, and see where you are coming from. From what I saw when Jess looked at her through the window, was he still had feelings for her. You can also get that from the convo Jess had with Luke before that scene. But I guess people can see it in other ways. And you are always impacted from your surroundings. I'm not saying Logan was completely at fault for Rory's actions, but he definitely was a factor. I feel like if he really loved her, he would have left his fiance for her. That would have been the true cement for me. That he would not care what his family thinks, and be with the woman he truly loves. And who knows! Maybe he loves his fiance also! I loved the final scene with Dean as well, he got the family dream he wanted. Rory and logan did have a romantic connection in the recent episodes, and it is clear she likes Logan. But in the end, she let the man go. She didn't tell him she was pregnant. And this can't be just because he has a fiance, there has to be another reason. Jess was more of a friend character, but it was him who helped her create her book. It's like he understood her and both have the same way of thinking. The ending of the show made it seem like Rory was following the footsteps of her mother. Loreli had a baby to Christopher, who is similar to Logan, but she married Luke who is similar to Jess. Loreli was also back and forth with Christopher. Rory may not have feelings for Jess now, but they definitely are similar people who both care for each other. Luke liked Loreli, but they were friends for a long time. Jess seems to still like Rory, and they have remained friends for a few years now. We may not agree on this, but I know we can both agree the show was awesome. It was great getting your insight.
Logan proposed to Rory and she, understandably said no, so he may be a little scared to put himself out there again. And Rory choosing to do something she knows is wrong means there's something deeper there and she may not want to admit that either because like Lorelai, she sometimes overthinks and freaks herself out. Logan simply showed her a new world, anything she did in that world is on her 100%. I don't find him at fault for any of her decisions. And Rory hasn't told Logan... yet. She probably just found out so I give her a break there. And yeah, Jess gave her the idea for the book, but Logan also fully supported that and told her she has to finally get writing. And the Logan/Christopher and Jess/Luke comparison is really only surface level. They're very much their own men. Jess is clearly most sensitive than Luke and Logan is far more present and supportive than Christopher. He would never let her raise that child alone. He would insist on being there. I just think they deserve a chance before throwing Jess into the mix because Rory isn't Lorelai. Nor 16. She doesn't need to repeat her mother's exact story. In fact, I would hate that. Maybe date Jess and end up with Logan. Or try with Logan or meet a new man. I loved the friendship Rory and Jess had. I don't want to see that ruined by some nostalgia. If it's natural maybe, but I just don't love them together.

Do you guys remember the game Rory and Lorelai had where they had to choose the first guy they saw and could only pass once? If they wanted to pass the second guy, the third automatically becomes the one, no take backs. Using this setup for Lorelai: Max / Christopher / Luke (finally!!!) and for Rory: Dean / Jess / Logan :)
