Love Steven he did a great job on my TRX.. sending it back in the next few months to make it even faster.
Why was there smoke coming out of only one pipe
Honestly not sure could have been the beginning of pushing a head gasket 👍🤟🤟
How many pounds of boost is that??
Car looks good
I have a very similar set up, I assume you are running the 2.85 pully ? Awsome build man!!!
Boostapump isnt on all yhe time as it has a hobbs switch. Pump longevity shouldn't be noticeable
Is the 3.0 better than the 3.8 for the hellcat or trackhawk?
I haven’t ran a 3.8 it wasn’t available when I got my 3.0 but I would have to assume the 3.8l would be capable of more peak power due to the bigger displacement but to need a 3.8L you would have to have a combo that is capable of 1300+ hp
@@bought2build The 3.8 is only better than the 3.0 over 1300hp
WHY CAN WE NOT RUN A BIG INLINE PWM CONTROLLED PUMP INSTEAD OF THE 285 OR 295S? NO REASON TO STICK WITH THE FUEL HAT PUMPS.
Well one reason for us personally is the local tracks are kinda on us about stock location everything otherwise we have to start adding a ton of extra safety stuff. for example with the GTO the battery is in the trunk so I had to add Killswitchs and extra power shut offs because the battery did not come factory there. Where with the hellcat the battery came factory in the trunk so I don’t need that stuff. So if I move the pumps out of the tank they may give me crap. I would like to go that route at some point tho!
Thanks for the support! 🤟🤟🤟👍👍👍👍
Thanks for replying. I guess other than track restrictions there is no reason to not do it.
Is this Whipple still holding up ok? I've had a RMA replacement for mine only 3,000 miles
honestly very little run time so far knock on wood it does
what pulley did u run on that pull
?
About time. Good job guys! That's the numbers we want to see from a twin screw. Push the limits
Thanks for the support! 🤟🤟🤟👍👍👍
Dude that’s an awesome build. Thanks for sharing. 👍 how much did that cost just curious.
Thanks! And no problem! Honestly to put a number on it is hard cuz it’s been through a couple different iteration’s between different blowers, then motors, trans, drive shafts, fuel systems, different rear end setups before we went fabricated 9” and coil overs it’s hard to put a $ on it bro “too much” I can tell ya that lololol 🤟🤟🤟
@@bought2build 🤣 yeah I hear you there man. Thanks again.
lights. on the doors is dope
Thanks! 🤟🤟
Did you use blower spacers and heat blanket?
We ran it just how it comes from whipple minus the pulley and we have an interchiller
@@bought2build what pully did you use?...I know it comes with a 3.75 for everyday street ability.
What injectors are you using
FIC 1650'S
Just subscribed! That’s one bad ass build!
Thanks! I appreciate it! 🤟 sucks we got both cars done basically just in time for winter up here in the northeast but hopefully come spring time we can get them out and see what we can do with them 🤟🤟🤟
@@bought2build 💪🏾! That’s dope. I’m getting my Hellcat done once i leave korea
@@Chestnut1998 they make a fun street car! They a little heavy and that kinda sucks but other than that it’s fun for sure
@@bought2build yeah definitely got it add a lot of power for them to move
Hot Damn 1320 whP...That is absolutely 🔥...Bring that car to brampton assembly plant to show the folks who built that thing what it is capable of, they would go bonkers
Thanks! Yeah it’s pretty rowdy this go around lol we ran out of fuel pumps at 1320 but the new pumps are in now so we can still go with an even smaller pulley but I don’t think it will be back on the dyno we will probably do that at the track.
And yeah if I had a way to set that up it would be awesome to bring it back to where it was built!!!
Ballpark how much for this set up? W/ tranny axles suspension engine work? 30k? I got a 2.85 lol
I’ve got that in drivetrain, wheels, suspension. All depends what parts you put in it and don’t forget to add that hemi tax lol
What happened to the 4.5?
Nothing happened to it we just wanted to try something els I’ve got the 4.5L forsale rn
Why do we keep doing the same old pump setups? Someone run a big magnafuel pump in the tank with pump controller on it. Good grief. We keep doing the same old crap every time. Makes no sense. Use the factory pump and an in tank capable magnafuel with pwm controller on it. Isn't that possible? Let's be more creative. Run a secondary bung off the tank and an inline with controller on it. These slave pump setups are not good enough.
*Edit* thought you were replying to one of my GTO videos my mistake
Yeah on something like this a big magnafuel could be a viable option. and to give a simple reason why this is the setup that is on it is simple because the pumps are cheap and it’s a simple way of making it work. we upped the size of the pumps for now but if the time comes we need more fuel then that would be a decent option I’d have to look into pump control and what not but definitely doable
Cause its not necessary and a big waste of money smfh is ur brain under developed or something? Thats why 3 525's are necessary
ugly window
Hub dyno's are really HAPPY bro..... That combo doesnt make any more than 1200 whp anywhere with any combo. Hub dyno adds 10% so ur looking at 1100 and change.
With the older style whipple it made 1250 on a chassis roller dyno so they were pretty close to each other and we maxed out the fuel system on the hub dyno so it made sense to me for it to be a little higher idk 🤷♂️ I’m not a dyno expert and I’m not tryna race the dyno just need it for tuning and it happens to spit out numbers i was always told dynocom was one of the more accurate dyno’s but we’ll see what happens when we get it to the track
It’s also hard to say that this combo will or wont do X amount because I haven’t seen many 428ci stroker higher compression hemi combos but like I said doesn’t really matter if it said 200hp I want to see what we can get out of it at the track this year thanks for the input 🤟🤟
@@bought2build Dope combo nonetheless thing must haul ass and yes the dyno is just a tool ur right I was just stating how the hub dyno reads a lot more. A lot of ppl dont realize that. Most think they are more accurate. For tuning they surely are.
I actually have a 430ci stroker now from BES Racing Engines and ur right the stroker setups are quite rare.. Waited 8 months to get ha.
Has a Winberg billet crank, Oliver billet rods, Thitek Aluminum heads, Titanium intake valves, Iconel exhaust. The block is Aluminum with billet mains and weighs a 100 lbs less than stock and good to 2000 blower hp and 2500-3000 Turbo hp.
Turbo setups are much softer on the hits.
The 430ci is going in my Trackhawk tho. I have a Redeye as well but the Trackhawk will be running the new 3.8 which I now have. THAT is what u should be looking at bro forget that 3.0.
The 3.8 makes 200 whp more than the 3.0 with a stock stroke stock headed Hellcat made 1200 whp with the 3.0 and 1400 whp with the 3.8. That was a stock stroke, stock head.
I plan on making 1500-1600 whp with mine with a 250 shot of Nitrous. U can do the same essentially. The stock block is really being stressed at that level tho. Bigger cubic inches and thitec heads with better valve train will pick 150-200 more whp for sure.
No reason u couldnt make 1450 whp with the 3.8 and 1500+ withe the Thitec heads.
that is one sick ass hellcat bro and it sounds amazing chopping up the block 🔥🫡
Thanks!! Can’t wait to see what we can do with it come spring 🤟🤟🤟
