Shit mine too! Matter of fact, my feet are totally fucked from ledges and stairs. I gotta do stretches everyday but still have alot of pain in my feet
I Feel you on having FUCKED beyond all reason ankles.. Shattered both of mine on a 22 stair set and years of continued abuse after ensured my use of a cane on a daily. I dont regret it though. It means i chose to live, albeit a bit foolishly and dangerously
My ankles are fukd hips are screawed and recently had back surgry from years off extreme sports.....
@@ofangelsflipzmy knees got most of the damage, all crackly, but overall I’ve come out pretty lucky. But speaking of feet, I’ll wake up in the middle of the night with what feels like the bottom of my feet on fire with that kind of pins and needles/throbbing/burning sensation randomly. Like the pain when do a huge jump into the water and smack your feet super hard going in. It’s such an awful pain to just wake up to in the middle of the night, and my guess is it’s from skating when I was younger.

That was a balsy ass ledge too. I bet few if any have hit it. Ryan was a young buck when I was riding BMX. We met a few times through different jams and events. Super cool dude and really took some nutty stunt early.
I think this is one of the most brutal slams of all time, thankfully he didn't hit his head but just thinking about falling that far onto stairs makes my ankles hurt.

Everyone has taken a slam and you sit there and wait for a minute to see if it hurts or not. Sometimes it hurts immediately and you know instantly you're screwed.

Compression fractures of the vertebrae are no fuckin joke man, depending on where it's at on the spine you won't be sitting or laying down flat for months. I could barely duck my head to get in or out of cars for months. I had to walk, sleep, shit and shower in very specific positions and ways for many months at a time.
