Same. I've used 6 major versions of Windows for 10 years before switching to macOS and I appreciate macOS more. At least it's more intuitive, simple, doesn't have two control panels, and its installers don't have a "this app can't run on dos" message in the header of every installer like Microsoft does for all EXEs today (for forward compatibility of Microsoft DOS from 1981 which no one uses). Wasting bytes with error messages for an OS from 45 years ago is unjustifiable.
Note: my criticism goes beyond a useless message being packaged with every installer on Windows today - it's about the stupid "design" choices that Microsoft makes, sacrificing performance on billions of device just to serve an error message to a device or two (I'm being dramatic about the numbers but I'm probably not far off lol) should they try to run an executable from today.

Plus you know, can it run Final Cut??
Here’s my evidence: every windows pc I’ve used (custom built, dell, asus, Acer, Lenovo and hp) have stupid problems, eg the other day my gaming pc just decided it would only go into the bios, no booting. Not a dead ssd or anything, I tried others, but it just wouldn’t boot, then the next day it did boot for no reason. On laptops, windows modern standby makes it pretty much impossible to use cause it’s always flat when I need it. On asus computers they love to have small text popups just not disappear when you alt tab out, and then they just sit there for some reason.
Edit: I can’t stress how important Final Cut is, also the dankpods quote “Mac is just so much better for creatives” which is so true

MacBooks running MacOS (or even Windows) are superior to Windows laptops.
Sure, they are expensive. But at the price class, you get perfect build quality. A MacBook Pro 14 starts at 2000€ here.
A Windows laptop with comparable specs would be the Dell XPS 13 Plus. With the i7 1280P, 512GB SSD, 16 GB of RAM and a 4K LCD (which is significantly worse than the screen of the MacBook with just a bit higher resolution) that costs 2500€.
That laptop will have a bit more power, but only when plugged into the wall. Otherwise is will be worse, have a worse display, worse battery life, won’t get updates when support for the current Windows version runs out and you don’t do the upgrade which will leave you with a worse system.
A comparable HP Spectre will cost 2000€ as well and have the same issues.
MacOS is great because it is based on Unix so in many ways compatible to Linux, without the limitations of Linux like lack of certain software and the instability.

I just got a new Mac yesterday, I've been a windows user my whole life so yeah it's been weird and difficult but what I realized is it's stupid to try and learn it. start using it, and search everything you need as you encounter it. it not a college course that you need to complete in one sitting, it's a process.

When Jimmy CarterPCs comes back to this, he gonna explode from happiness when he finds out that Firefox, Chrome and his prideful OperaGX are ported on Mac and work Painfully bad, but a little bit the same way. Firefox works astoundingly well though, and is my preference over chrome cause of privacy

Tab group is the best feature. I have nearly 50 tabs open all the time. Now, I am grouping them based on similarities. All GCP ones in ine group, Azure ones in one group. Dev ones in one, Pros ones in one, etc…

Safari has most of the features hidden unless you change the settings, which is supposed to make it more user-friendly to people who don't understand computers but know how to use an iphone.

LOL, that's the exact wrong way to go my friend. You should forget how you do it in Windows and think of the easiest way and just do that.
