      Thank you for your question! We used approx. 35-40 ounces of resin for this project. Be sure to pour the resin in several layers and let cure, not all at once. This helps ensure you get a full cure and the final result turns out beautifully. 🙂

    Ok so I’m assuming it won’t create More bubbles after you let a layer completely dry then pour another layer of resin on ? And or will it leave like a double layer film on top where you could tell like a line in the middle sorry if I sound confusing🙄🤣🙄, also IF I start making these I’d want to sell them but since resin is expensive would it be wrong to charge between $50 to $80 dollars in that price range ?
    And is it ok to use pre dried flowers like you would buy at Joann’s OR Michaels?
    Thanks so much🌹🌹

    • @ArtNGlow
      @ArtNGlow  5 месяцев назад +1

      Just make sure to mix your resin properly to avoid bubbles. You can also use a lighter/torch or toothpick to pop any surface bubbles. It's good practice to do a light sanding between layers to avoid "seam" lines - and yes, pre-dried flowers should work just fine! 💙

      If I pour after 24 hours, there are layers of resin visible from the sides. How can I avoid it?

    • @ArtNGlow
      @ArtNGlow  7 месяцев назад

      When adding multiple layers, let each one sit for about 6 hours before adding the next. If it's been more than 48 hours, a light sanding with 220 grit sandpaper can smooth out any visible seams.@@floralwings

    • @ArtNGlow
      @ArtNGlow  Месяц назад

      There are many different ways to dry the flowers. A couple of recommended ways are to let them air dry by hanging you bunch of flowers upside down. Or you can also submerge your flowers in silica gel for a few weeks to remove the moisture.

      We are so sorry for your loss, that is a beautiful idea for a tribute. We recommend pouring thin layers, making sure to torch away any bubbles, and letting them cure enough until they are tacky - this will serve as a base for your objects to rest on.
