Great video - especially the conclusion. It was interesting to see, but I'm with you: even though it works, I'm just gonna buy a new one 😂 Thank you for helping me decide.
Thanks for your effort. We got two placements from our trip to Paris two years ago. I thought of doing something like this. Maybe I will reconsider idea. Thanks so much.
have a 24 x 36 matt that got warped in storage. taped it to the top of my freezer and use it as a cut area and for protection of my freezer. might try your idea on that one. Thought of ironing it, but was afraid to make it worse. thanks for the video. will you let us know when you do your sale on the vintage paper packs? You could put a saucer under you tea cup so it is not directly on your matts.
Let me know how it turns out, Caroline! It certainly requires more patience than I evidently have (you'll know what I mean if you watched to the end). Great idea about the saucer, but I'm a clutz and I'd probably end up spilling it - the tea shouldn't even be anywhere near me when I'm crafting, ha ha ha!!!
Do you think this will work too if the mat was slightly folded? Bought a blue mat online. But it wasn't packed securely and delivered to me with sligjtt fold
@@TheScrapologist thanks for the reply. I managed to file a complaint though and asked for a refund. But I keep the video in mind in case my other mats will have problems like this (hopefully not). 🥰

Ha ha!!! I don't know how people have the patience. :)

Well, you might have more patience than me, ha ha ha!! Supposedly this technique works, I just gave up too quickly :)
Loved this experiment. I've found an old bubbled mat that I could try this on.
Let me know how it works out!! I lost patience after the first mat :)
Awesome!! Thank you!! I’m doing this today!!
Nice to see you again . We have had very little snow so far this year . Take care.
We have had 3 feet of snow this week in 3 separate storms! I'm soooooo ready for spring :)
Coasters baby!
😀That would have been so much easier, wouldn't it?! ha ha ha

You're welcome! Let me know how yours turns out!

Oh, that's a shame! I'm not sure if it will work, but - if you have the patience (that I didn't have) - it's worth a try!😄

You can do it! Let me know how it turns out!!!
@@TheScrapologist I will gonna work on it tomorrow 😂
After finishing the video maybe I will not try!,! Hahahahah
Ha ha ha!!!!! Maybe you will have more patience than me, Heather! Let me know if you do it and how it turns out!! :)
