A good reminder when you are single, is that a lot of people in relationships are completely miserable, and us singles are over here living it up and not being stuck in an unhappy relationship. Sad but it’s true.. I’ve seen it time and time again! 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️

I was single well into my mid-30s. I was one of the few who spent time preparing a nice dinner for myself. I froze meals, so that I could have variety. My husband would make a large crockpot of food & eat the same thing for a week!
I definitely encourage those who are single to put the effort into a nice meal just for themselves. It makes your evening more pleasant. Then, you have the skills to host dinner parties. Ya know, that all singles love homemade meals, so it is the best kind of party, really.
Imagine how lucky Alix is when she bakes a cake ahe gets it all to herself 😂😂😂😂

I was single 20 years then met two wonderful people in less than 6 months (I was an exchange student, met a nice guy, came home and thought I'd be single forever and then met ANOTHER amazing guy who I'm now proud to call my partner). It happens eventually, but being single is wonderful! You can do all you whenever you want

I have been widowed for 23 years. I like living alone and I cook all the time. For recipes that make more than one or two servings I freeze the extra for other meals.
It's easier to make something larger and portion it to use for other meals.
Roast a whole chicken and I have a lot for other meals.
Made the crispy omelette today. Came out fantastic and was so easy.

OMG! Thank you! After years of cooking for a family of six ( plus friends), I'm the only one left. It's been hard to adjust to cooking for one. A quick hot dog and chips etc. At my age it's important to eat healthy but not always easy. Thanks so much.

Do you realize how hard that is?? If you want a good price, you have to buy large portions. Using items before they go bad, especially fresh items, is extremely hard when cooking for one if you don't want to eat the same thing every day for a week.

Another easy breakfast with eggs:
At the beginning of the week, I chop up a bowl full of bell peppers, onion, and mushrooms. Every morning, I grab and spray my mini loaf pan (2"x4"), add an egg or two, a couple spoonfuls of my pre-chopped veggies, salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and pop in the oven on 375F for 25 minutes while I get ready for work. After it's done, top with a couple spoons of salsa and dig right in! ❤

Nothing wrong with being single. I ended my relationship months ago and I’m extremely happy being single. I am working on myself and having this alone time helps. I do miss snuggling but that’s what body pillows were made for lol.
