Am so lucky to have been a huge quo fan at this time, nobody could live with them live. The best fans in the rock world gave it everything at every gig. Thank you for being so supportive to the most underrated band of all time.
2 videos released from this concert, End of the Road and More from the Road, I think from memory there are about 3 or 4 tracks from the concert that didn’t make either video. There is a bootleg recording somewhere that has everything from the day. There are some belters still to come 🤟🤟
It's a shame you have to do these songs individually in separate videos, as I love the way it goes straight into Roll Over Lay Down immediately after Caroline finishes. I remember wearing out the video tape I had of this at the time. Even better once I had the equipment needed to relay the stereo sound out of an amplifier. Caroline was, of course, their show opener from 1977 onwards. There's been many versions of it recorded on various live albums. The NEC one from 1982 was released as a single in that year and did well in the charts. Speaking of which, it'd be great if you were to react to that version of, 'Don't Waste My Time', from the same gig. That was the first version I remember and will always be my favourite, even over the studio version. A brilliant song.
A long long bus journey from Glasgow to see what I thought would be the last time I ever saw them live. I was in the middle of that somewhere, at times crying (unashamedly) through it all. Brilliant gig.
I was there, incredible stuff. They played Keep Right On through the speakers before the band hit the stage as they did throughout that tour. I saw them around 130 times live. No one did it better!
Only saw the Quo about 6 times. I was late to the live music scene unfortunately. But, after seeing them live for the first time, I realised just how underrated they were. If you've only heard studio Quo, then you've never heard real Quo. I never realised music could sound so good.
I really love that you have discovered the Quo and fallen in love with the band. Quite a few people who were metalheads back in the day used to look down their noses at them, which was just ridiculous. Quo could stand toe to toe with anyone in a live setting. You have to check out the album “Quo Live”, it has to be up there as one of THE best rock live albums ever.
No Band in the seventies beat Status Quo live. It was rough, wild and full of headbanging fans.I saw over 250 gigs of all Metal & Hardrock Bands but the mighty Quo was simply the best. Hear the live'77 from Glasgow Apollo and you know what i mean👍I like your way of Präsentation, like me when i was young 😂 40 years i supported Quo but the dead of my hero Rick was the end of Quo for me. Beautyful memories with fantastic gigs and loyal fans❤
Circa 4 minutes of pure rock n roll adrenalin. I defy anyone to listen to that song without moving. Roll Over Lay Down up next - just watch the crowd bounce!
unfortunately I never got to see them live, but I have got my seat booked for an evening with Francis Rossi next year at folkestone, as i decided its about time i stopped missing out on things i always wanted to do.
They actually played for over 3 hours and it was released on two VHS cassettes, The End of the Road and More from the End of the Road, so if you want to do the entire show you'll have to do both of them 😊
Before their constant touring and party hard lifestyle took its toll..... I am lucky enough to have been at two Golden 70's era gigs with the original frantic four line up playing at their Hard Rock Boogie Best. Happy Daze indeed. 🤟😎
This is the breakup in 1984, and the backround of that was that they were really tired of eachother, mostly Rossi and Alan (on Bass), so they lack some of the happier wibes we know from them (imo)... But still a classic to watch and review as a Quo-fan, the crowd here is amazing. I got this on VHS in the 90s 😄
Some savage editing in one or two songs as well. Quo badly let down with the videos available of them in their prime. Not much about compared to other bands. The tapes for this gig lost is just typical.
Nice Videos as always, maybe you should try reacting to Falling In Reverse - "Watch The World Burn" LIVE! The Popular Monstour, this live version has some great screams
Please play this and tell me what version do you think have the most energy and punch to it! (2014) ruclips.net/video/Jfjj_8jkTPg/видео.htmlsi=ebCctMKUE4HvSVYm

Status Quo and Mr Rock and Roll, the dream combination
Rick Parfitt, R.I.P. one of the best rhythm guitarists ever. I was there and had a fantastic day.
I was in the middle of that crowd for the opener. Great memories.

And here I am in 2024🤘🏻
My Dad got me the Ticket. Big up Mate :)
A long long bus journey from Glasgow to see what I thought would be the last time I ever saw them live. I was in the middle of that somewhere, at times crying (unashamedly) through it all. Brilliant gig.
Great reaction to one of the best songs on one of the best days of my life. How can it be 40 years ago !!!!!!!!!!!
I was only ten years old at this show and it was life changing! What an epic concert!
I was there, incredible stuff. They played Keep Right On through the speakers before the band hit the stage as they did throughout that tour. I saw them around 130 times live. No one did it better!
Great to see people discovering the Quo. Love these reactions

My friend, please check out Ol Rag Blues.
A little more mellow than regular Quo, but it's such a great track.
Quo had done 80 gigs before Milton Keynes, the hardest working band alive at the time :)
The Angels - Comin Down or I Aint the One! Neither will disappoint mate! Love your channel!

Nice to see the wall of death again ( the VOX Amps )
You should play Roll Over Lay down to see all those AIR guitars
Wish homie would check out rolling quartz. Azelea is a famous love poem that they made into a rock song super good stuff

YOU ABSOLUTE MONSTER🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 thank you so much!!!
Was there in the middle . . Best show was at Glasgow 84 and dundee
The concert was 2.5 hours, not sure the full gig is about. Will have a look.

Just checked many songs missing, and Roadhouse Blues butchered in the editing room.
🔥🔥🔥

Jam on it in the words of Newcleus

Even Kiss stole the name End of the road
Fantastic!!!! 😀👍🏻

No Quo, no rock music. Very simple...
