  • I have been using this pack daily for about 10 months and have to say that it's absolutely amazing. Holds way more gear than you would think, and is great for a variety of tasks. Extremely durable and very comfortable to ware for extended periods of time.

    I agree about the waist strap. Having one on any bag below 20-21 liters is ridiculous. Daypacks are DAYPACKS. You have to carry more, use a bigger pack.

    Calisthenics can go a long way if you do enough. Check Herschel Walker’s work regimen.
    Personally I only do about 60 push-ups (straight one rep) and about 50 sit-ups every other night. On the odd nights, I do squats (about 50, one rep) and curls with 20# dumbbells. I would like to work in pull ups, but I don’t have the space, and I don’t like those over the door bars.
    My workout literally on takes about 5 minutes every time and it keeps me in shape. I’m 6’ tall, 190 lbs and about 10-15% body fat. And I eat whatever, no diet a mix of fast food and home cooking.
    P.s. I have a GR1 26L, but I don’t ruck with it, mainly hiking, travel, work etc.

    I agree it's a cool bag and that rucking is a fine way to keep in decent shape. However nothing beats barbell strength training for getting big and strong quickly. I'm fortunate enough to have all the equipment in my garage. I highly recommend it if you can afford it. Furthermore rucking and barbell strength training are perfectly compatible.

    Why don't you change your patch to fit sideways---horizonally. I think it would look better

    Great review video as always. With the back panel and straps not having mesh or venting, does your shoulders or back sweat when it's hot? Thanks for sharing.

      Thanks, really appreciate the compliment! I haven't had any issues with it getting hot on my back or shoulders. It will get sweaty, but it never got uncomfortable.

    I currently have a 20 go ruck weight but I don’t own a backpack by them. I have a similar backpack that I use it for but it strains my shoulders and neck pretty good I stuff like a sweatshirt or something so the weight can be higher on my back and not so low. So when I’m walking i put my hands under the straps to relieve the strain. Do these go ruck backs,that go with the weights, actually fix that problem? I remember a few years ago when I bought the weight I watched Jason the ceo say the bags help have the weight in the back more higher up on the upper back and less strain on the neck and shoulders Is that true? I can’t seem to find anyone talking about it and I’m looking to buy this 15liter just for the weights. I have two bags already but the one I use for rucking hurts my neck I just wanna know how well they actually Alleviate. Thanks

    Hi. Is this Vietnam made?

    • @AdventureCamping
      @AdventureCamping  2 года назад +1

      Honestly I'm not sure. I sold it to a buddy a while back so cannot check. Pretty sure it was made in Vietnam as I believe there production moved there. Also think the US produced ones were a lot more expensive.

    Always freaks me out when I see people in other countries (mainly the US) carrying firearms and other weapons around. In my country it is illegal to carry weapons (unless you are military or law enforcement) - this includes knives (unless you have a genuine reason - if you're a chef, for example).

    • @AdventureCamping
      @AdventureCamping  Год назад

      I can understand people who do not live in a country that has a right to bare arms like we do being uncomfortable with the concept. However if you look at the research here in the US you will see that in states where there are less restrictions on gun ownership crimes against people is the lowest. Compared to states that have the most restrictions crimes against people are the highest. It simply breaks down to this. Criminals will never follow the law. That is why we call them criminals. So when law abiding citizens are lawfully carrying crime against them is down because the criminals know the likelihood of them encountering someone with a gun is high. Criminals are lazy and want an easy target. If they know that lots of people are likely carrying then that makes their task harder, so they are less likely to try. As they say... an armed society is a polite society. All the research is there. You just have to get used to the idea that people should be allowed to defend themselves and not have to wait on government to do it for them.

      Great review, by the way. I was mainly commenting on the different attitudes regarding carrying weapons around in your backpack. It’s really interesting that for you it’s super normal.
