I was just in shock for a good 15 minutes afterwards and kept staring at her off and on, laughing and screaming, before I finally started the process of moving her in. 😅

i actually believe that they upped the chances of getting the new villagers. i went on a hunt and found petri in 10 tickets (didnt grab her though) and shino in 24 tickets. also marlo was in my campsite one day later🤔
Maybe for the campsite but for the islands they have a specific code so it’s literally pure luck you found them that fast. Petri is extremely rare to find on the islands because there are so many other mice it could roll for instead of her. Shino is much more common to find since there’s less deer to roll for. I found Shino in around 60 tickets. I spent around 1000 tickets to find Raymond so I took Shino knowing I didn’t want to spend 1400 tickets looking for Petri. It’s sadly pure luck to roll for a specific character that’s in a species that has 10-15 different villager like cats, mice, rabbits.

For future reference: if you go complain about a villager to Isabelle before you get a campsite villager to move in they're more likely to pick that villager you complained about. I've done this twice and it's worked both times!

So basically once Wardell and I went to the beach together he starts to call you ‘my friend’ and then after designing a few homes after that you can order stuff. Now you have to had designed a house for a villager who has a froggy chair in their vacay home. So Marty for example or Lily. But once you use the froggy chair in the house it will show up in the order thing from wardell. And you can order it. Just like Nook shopping!!! Hope this helps you, and other people!!!!

Just a suggestion, but you should build the the STEM girlboss a kid core science lab or potion selling type of outdoor decoration, for her house, or if you want you could make it kinda spooky and go for and evil “baddie” scientist, and add signs specifying what category each potion went into or what it does to you like “beware : might turn you into frog”.
